Xiaomi Launches Redmi 15 5G in Singapore

We’ve seen 5,000mAh and even 6,000mAh batteries for some smartphones, but how often do you hear of one with a massive 7,000mAh battery capacity? That’s what the new Redmi 15 5G comes with as Xiaomi announces its launch in Singapore.

Redmi 15 5G: Features
The highlight of the Redmi 15 5G is its 7,000mAh battery

The high-capacity 7,000mAh Xiaomi Surge battery is the company’s largest ever globally, boasting up to two days of usage. This is complemented by Smart Charging Engine 2.0, which has features like Battery Health 4.0 that bring long-term battery reliability. The phone’s battery efficiency is touted to be so good that it is still able to do 59 minutes of calling or 7.5 hours of standby even with the battery at 1%.

Because it has such a large battery, the Redmi 15 5G is able to share the love wth its 18W reverse charging capabilities. And when the battery finally does get depleted, you can get the phone back running in a flash with 33W fast charging support.

Beyond its big battery capacity, the Redmi 15 5G is also equipped with a large 6.9-inch display. The FHD+ screen supports a refresh rate of up to 144Hz and has a 288Hz touch sampling rate that provides responsive feedback whilst using the phone. With Wet Touch Technology 2.0, users can also reliably use and swipe on the display even with wet fingers.

At the back of the phone, you’ll find the 50-megapixel AI dual camera system, with photography supported by tools such as AI Erase, AI Sky, and Dynamic shots.

Other features for the Redmi 15 5G include the Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 chip, up to 16GBs of RAM, up to 2TB of expandable storage, Dolby Atmos support, and IP64-rated splash and dust resistance. The Xiaomi HyperOS 2 operating system also comes with popular new tools like Circle to Search and Google Gemini.
