We all know Coach for their bags, clothes and accessories – but now coffee as well? That is what you can experience now with the opening of The Coach Coffee Shop at Resorts World Sentosa’s new lifestyle destination, WEAVE.
It’s the very first Singapore outlet for The Coach Coffee Shop, with stores found in Japan, Indonesia, China, Malaysia, Taiwan, and the United States. And it builds on Coach’s other hospitality offering in the country, The Coach Bar at Coach Play Singapore Shophouse on Keong Saik Road.
The Store
The Coach Coffee Shop is located right at the front of the retail store, designed to evoke the feel of a New York coffee shop – the hometown where Coach was born.
The 277 sqm outlet offers both an indoor and an alfresco area for visitors. Customers can enjoy the lush greenery in view outside, while those who prefer the inside can take in the urban architectural elements, including industrial fixtures with black accents, concrete walls, and decorative LED lighting.
Lil Miss Jo, the beloved coffee cup mascot, is also lovingly featured throughout the space, such as on to-go cups and napkins. Be sure not to miss the Gift Shop area as well, with exclusive custom Lil Miss Jo merchandise like tote bags, baseball hats, t-shirts, coffee mugs, canvas pouches, and more available for purchase.
Food
The Coach Coffee Shop has an all-day menu that showcases an elevated take on American classics.
Signature dishes include the Fully Loaded Reuben (S$30), which is a classic New York sandwich made with a generous double serving of tender corned beef, sauerkraut, and Swiss cheese, before it is topped with Russian dressing. The combo is sandwiched between house-made rye sourdough and is served with crispy chips on the side.
Another is the Grilled Cheese (S$13). It features a cheese combination of American cheddar, gruyère, and extra sharp cheddar. Added between house-made sourdough, it is then grilled to a nice char and comes alongside tomato soup.
Visitors can also get The Classic Cheeseburger (S$22), which is exclusively available on weekends in limited portions. Nestled within the buttery brioche buns is a premium wagyu patty, which is elevated with melted red cheddar and Coach’s special house-made sauce. A side of golden, curly fries completes the meal.
For pastries, The Coach Coffee Shop also offers American cruller-style donuts (S$5.50) – coming in delightfully colourful flavours such as raspberry, maple and apple crumble. You can also indulge in other options like Cinnamon Rolls (S$6.50) or Ricotta Toast (S$8).
Desserts are also on the menu, with a unique selection of soft-serve flavours available. The signature is the Chilli Crab Soft Serve (S$9), coming in a distinctive terracotta hue and has crispy fried mantou topped on it. The taste is a mixture of sweet and rich savoury notes, with a hint of spice for good measure.
Other flavours include Peanut Butter & Jelly (S$8), Peaches & Cream (S$8), and Lemon Meringue Pie (S$9). Customers can also opt for The Flight (S$19), a soft-serve cup that features all four flavours and is made for sharing.
Drinks
Of course, we can’t end without talking about the drink options.
Alongside coffee selections like Espresso, Americano, Latte, and Mocha, The Coach Coffee Shop also brings a curated selection of specialty drinks.
Among them is the Hot Chocolate (S$8.50), which is served with warm, velvety milk and finished with a delicate cocoa-dusted “C.” There is an Iced option as well. You can also enjoy The Coach Coffee Shop’s Iced Lemonade (S$8), a refreshing drink crafted with Coach’s signature lemon “C”-shaped ice.
The Coach Coffee Shop also has a seasonal drink menu, with the first offerings being Strawberry Matcha Latte (S$9), Orange Cream (S$9), and Cherry Lemonade (S$8.50).
