As a world-class hub filled with countless cherished memories for both locals and travellers, the airport—along with its iconic terminals and JEWEL—has grown hand in hand with our nation, making it a fitting stage for SG60 festivities. So, without further ado, here’s everything waiting for you at the airport that never sleeps!
Changi and Jewel Horticultural Displays
Let’s kick things off with the botanical beauties! Starting from 21 July, come visit Terminal 3 to celebrate the Vanda Miss Joaquim with a seven-metre-tall sculpture of the national flower surrounded by a sprawling 270 sqm garden of other local orchid hybrids—a towering tribute to our identity as a Garden City.
Meanwhile, at Terminal 2, things get even more creative with the six-metre floral Merlion crafted from 60 different plant species, proudly standing by the waterfall. Do also keep an eye out for the floral interpretations of iconic local snacks like curry puffs that offer a savoury sight for not only your eyes but also your camera roll!
Finally, from 1 to 31 August, watch Jewel’s Forest Valley enter full bloom as over 1,200 orchids transform the indoor garden into a vivid display of harmonious red and white. A Dendrobium Jewel Changi Airport hybrid created to mark its fifth anniversary will also be showcased here, so be sure to stop by to smell the flowers!

Changi SG60 Charity Walk
Ever thought of celebrating by giving back to the nation? If so, lace up and join Buddy and Mr Merlion on a delicious night stroll on 27 July at the SG60 Changi Airport Charity Walk! This fundraiser event is organised in support of Community Chest-funded programmes, meaning you’ll empower children with special needs and uplift youth-at-risk as you clock your steps.
The walk flags off at Terminal 2’s Race Village, taking you on a glowing two-kilometre SG60-themed journey down the Changi Airport Connector, all the way to the Finisher Carnival at Terminal 4. Along the route, enjoy interactive trivia stations and nostalgic local treats (think gem biscuits and ice cream sandwiches) before being rewarded with a finisher medal and an exclusive mini-plush keychain.
Furthermore, if you grab early bird tickets to the walk by 30 June, you’ll also get to enjoy a race pack with goodies like an event tee, eco-bag and retail vouchers available for collection from 18 to 20 July. So don’t skip this deal, especially with the special discounted rates for Changi Airport members!

Changi Boulevard “60 Years of Homecoming” Light-up
And while you’re on your way there, don’t miss the enchanting outdoor light-up as you’re driving along Airport Boulevard! From 28 July 2025 onwards, the road will come alive in celebration of “60 Years of Homecoming,” featuring illuminated displays of iconic landmarks like the Merlion, Toa Payoh Dragon Playground, and Gardens by the Bay.
The glowing path then leads to a striking arch decked out in the red and white of the Singapore flag, serving as a picturesque reminder for first-time tourists of where they’ve landed, and more importantly, a heartfelt welcome home for returning locals.

SG60 Homecoming Concert
For music lovers and karaoke fans, get ready to join the ultimate National Day sing-along at the SG60 Homecoming Concert at Jewel on 1 August! Filled with star-studded celebrities past and present, look out for national icons like Stefanie Sun and Kit Chan, along with beloved voices of today like Sezairi and Regina Song.
That’s not all, though! Beyond the solo acts, the concert will also feature Mandopop folk-duo The Freshman (插班生) and groovy pop band SuperSonic—so you’ll definitely want to check out this stacked lineup.

Speaking of music, be sure to check out the Jewel “Home” Light & Music Showcase on display daily throughout August as well! Set to Kit Chan’s iconic anthem, this spectacle pairs its timeless melodies with stunning projections of beloved Singaporean symbols—all illustrated in delicate, hand-drawn watercolour.
It’s a heartfelt celebration of the nation’s one-of-a-kind heritage and identity brought to life in the most unique way, so whether you’re stopping by for a moment of reflection or sharing the magic with loved ones, this showcase is a must-see highlight of the SG60 festivities!

Changi Experience Studio’s “Evolution of Travel”
Last but not least, from the start of August till the end of October, discover the “Evolution of Travel” pop-up at the Changi Experience Studio as you’re taken on a trip through time!
Beyond tracing the shift from traditional travel agencies to today’s digital bookings, you’ll also get to explore the evolution of Changi’s terminals over the decades and follow the airport’s growth into the smart, passenger-centric hub it is today.
However, the most delicious highlight has got to be the section that dives into how in-flight dining has adapted over the years to suit global palates, dietary needs, and culinary innovations—so don’t leave without getting a taste of how far we’ve flown!
