MUJI is known for a great many things – household items, clothing, food, and even beauty products. Now, customers can look forward to even more with the launch of its new skincare offerings.
If you visited MUJI Bugis Junction since its refresh, you might have spotted the new skincare range within the store, but now, it is widely available for customers all across Singapore! Let’s take a look at what the latest launch offers.
Booster Series
The new skincare range begins with the Booster Series, which has MUJI’s proprietary Fermented Rice Bran Extract at the heart of the product line—crafted with Yamagata-produced rice bran and cultivated mountain water that is rich in seven types of vitamins and eight types of minerals.
The combination brings a moisturising liquid that refines skin texture and boosts hydration. Additionally, the formulation is alcohol-free and made without harsh chemicals like colouring and synthetic fragrance, resulting in a gentle product suitable for all skin types.
Both the Booster Serum and Booster Essence Lotion feature on the Booster Series, designed to soften the outer skin layer and improve the effectiveness of toning water and subsequent moisture-based treatments. While the Booster Serum is recommended for Dry or moisture-depleted skin, the Booster Essence Lotion can be used for oily or combination skin.
Meanwhile, there’s a Pre Lotion skincare product available as well to help with removing additional dirt not cleaned up by regular cleansing; MUJI recommends using it before the Serum or Essence Lotion.
Sensitive Skin Series
The second new skincare line is the Sensitive Skin Series, which offers gentle and deeply moisturising care for all ages and skin types – especially sensitive or easily irritable ones.
It touts 100% natural ingredients, eschewing synthetic fragrances, colourants, parabens, alcohol, and phenoxyethanol while including ingredients like ceramides (for locking in moisture and maintaining skin barrier), five types of amino acids (to support moisture retention), and three plant extracts (to soothe and prevent skin roughness).
First up from MUJI’s Sensitive Skin Series are the Toning Water and Moisturising Milk, which additionally has three variations – Light, Moisture, and Deep Moisture – allowing you to pick a suitable one according to your skin’s condition. Afterwards, you can use the Moisturising Cream as the final step of your skincare routine.
For those who are busy, MUJI also offers an All-in-One Gel from the Sensitive Skin Series that serves as a convenient one-step solution.
