With Jurassic World Rebirth roaring into Singapore theatres on 3 July, CapitaLand is commemorating the occasion by bringing some Jurassic World activities to experience at their shopping malls! As part of their Triple Blockbuster Campaign: A Cinematic Odyssey at CapitaLand Malls, CapitaLand presents their Colossal Dinosaur Experience – the final themed experience centred around Jurassic World Rebirth.
Running from 16 June to 6 July 2025, three CapitaLand malls (Junction 8, SingPost Centre, and Tampines Mall) will feature different installations for visitors to interact with.
Tampines Mall
First up is Tampines Mall, whose sea-themed Jurassic installation can be found at the Open Plaza on level 4. Step onto the trick-eye sinking platform for a photo opportunity, which makes it seem like a Spinosaurus is coming to nab you!
Tampines Mall is also the first location to feature the rotating claw machine, where you can try your luck to win some cool and exclusive Jurassic World merchandise. It’ll be available onsite from now till 22 June 2025.
To get the chance to play the claw machine, simply complete the scavenger hunt where you find words hidden throughout the installation. Don’t worry, clues are provided to help you know exactly where to look.
If you’ve managed to get lucky on your claw machine play, you can collect your prize from the pop-up booth nearby, which is inspired by the rustic Van Dijk’s Bar – a location featured within the Jurassic World Rebirth movie.
SingPost Centre
Next up is SingPost Centre, where the level 2 Atrium hosts the land-themed Jurassic World installation. This time, the trick-eye installation features a mock bridge with a towering Brachiosaurus looking over.
As for the claw machine, it will make its way to the SingPost Centre from 23 – 29 June, so have a try if you’re in the area during that time!
Junction 8
Finally, we have Junction 8, which has a very different air-themed Jurassic World installation at the level 1 event space that features Aztec-like motifs. Be sure to pose with the dinosaur eggs at this trick-eye photo opportunity!
The claw machine makes its final stop here from 30 June – 6 July, so be sure to experience it before it finishes its run.
A Cinematic Odyssey at CapitaLand Malls
That’s what you can expect from Colossal Dinosaur Experience, but other activations from CapitaLand’s A Cinematic Odyssey are still running! You can check out the 15-foot Toothless Touring Truck inspired by How to Train Your Dragon, which features a series of engaging mini-quests to interact with. It’ll be available at Bugis+’s level 1 Open Plaza till 22 June, before finally finishing its run from 24 to 29 June at Lot One’s Covered Plaza.
