Summer is now in full swing, and what better way to deal with the sweltering heat than with a cool cup of Starbucks? Their newly launched Purple Perfection lineup featuring ube might just be your new favourite limited-time item on their menu.
Alongside that, there are also new merchandise collaborations with BEAMS, as well as a new product – a multi-pocket city bag, coming out soon!
The All-New Ube Drinks
Featuring two new drinks – the Iced Ube Oatmilk Macchiato and the Crunchy Ube Oatmilk Espresso Affogato-style Frappuccino are both sure to turn heads with their vibrant colour combinations.
The Iced Ube Oatmilk Macchiato is your everyday standard Macchiato with a Filipino twist; combining with the added ube (Yam) for a dessert-like experience that is sure to perk you up and get you through the day!
As for the Crunchy Ube Oatmilk Espresso Affogato-style Frappuccino, the same ube and oatmilk base are instead blended into a Frappuccino, but with extra texture owing to the extra pecan crumbs sprinkled on top of your whipped cream for that crunch to go along with the drink.
Both Starbucks Ube drinks are now available at all stores islandwide, so you can head on down to your nearest outlet to try them out! Otherwise, you can also order via their app for Mobile Order, and with their delivery partners, GrabFood, Foodpanda, and Deliveroo.
BEAMS + Starbucks Collaboration
As you may know, Starbucks tends to have its shelves stocked full of tumblers, flasks, and mugs, and now there’s a new addition to the family. The new collaboration with BEAMS, a Harajuku-born label, showcases the visual identities of both brands, with three distinct designs that are sure to catch the eye.
The collaboration will feature eight drinkware items and lifestyle merchandise, ranging from tumblers and water bottles to bottle holders and mini pouches, only available at selected stores come 24 June, and on the Starbucks website at 10 am the same day!
Starbucks Multi-Pocket City Bag
Last but not least, Starbucks will also be releasing a new Multi-Pocket City Bag, designed to look stylish, yet be functional at the same time, with tons of pockets for you to keep more items, meaning you can use it for almost any occasion! It comes in three colourways – Claret Red, Denim and Navy, and will be available from 20 June in stores, on their website at 10am, and on Lazada and Shopee at 12pm.
