With GastroBeats 2025 in full swing now, how could we not fill you in on what’s been going on at this well-loved festival? Running from now until 22 June 2025, there’s so much to explore at this feast of flavours and symphony of sounds.
Unfortunately, that means we can’t cover it all–but hey, some things are best left discovered on your own, right? So, from delicious bites and refreshing sips to buzzing booths and awesome tunes, here are just a few of our favourite picks at GastroBeats 2025!
Food

Of course, we have to start this article with the food, since after all, they put the “Gastro” in GastroBeats! This year, the festival boasts a record-breaking 42 food vendors, each serving up the most unique flavours from around the world. To put it plainly: if you can crave it, chances are it’s being cooked up right here!
But with so much to taste, it’s totally understandable if you don’t know where to start. That’s why, after sampling a little bit of everything, I’ve trimmed down the long list of eats to just three must-try stalls. With that said, let’s dig in!
Slurp Your Oysters

My first pick on this list has to be Slurp Your Oysters at booth F21, which not only attracted me with its long queue (a true local sign of good food) but also with a mouthwatering sight of Aburi Mentaiko oysters sizzling away.
Besides that, they’re also shucking out fresh, raw oysters for sale–but you’d honestly be missing out if you didn’t pair them with the stall’s signature sweet and refreshing Mango Salsa. And if oysters aren’t your thing, no worries: perhaps you’ll enjoy the Negitoro Pie-Tee as much as I did!
The Meatmen Booth

Next up, it’s The Meatmen Booth on F39 with their reimagined range of local dishes, which includes the aptly-titled Iconic Sio Bak, juicy Singapore Hawker BBQ Chicken Thigh, and my personal favourite: the Laksa Mac & Cheese.
Technically, The Meatmen Booth is just one of seven stalls in The Meatmen Zone that are bringing a taste of their home-based businesses to the festival, but trust me, choosing between these dishes and their GastroBuddy SGUMAMI’s Hokkien Mee was already a struggle–so don’t even get me started! Instead, consider this your sign to try them all!
My Cow Bae by The Swag Social

Finally, My Cow Bae by The Swag Social at booth F22 earns my last shoutout for both their juicy yakiniku steak cubes and amusing Spiderman cosplay. And yes, while getting 120 grams of that tender beef for just S$15 is a total steal, don’t tell the web-slinging hero I said that.
Also, just like other vendors, this stall offers plenty of options other than their headliners, such as the Teriyaki Chicken Don topped with an onsen egg, as well as their new sweet potato croquettes that make for the perfect snack or side. Just remember: anyone can make the order!
Booths
Now, all this talk of food has me feeling thirsty–and not just in the usual sense! Thankfully, there are also plenty of refreshment and activity booths throughout the festival grounds, offering just about anything from alcohol and non-alcoholic beverages to just plain fun!
But just like last section, there’s simply too much to cover. And so, this time, here’s another top three list for the booths that you totally need to sip from, both literally and figuratively!
Somersby

Kicking things off with my favourite festival tipple (#notsponsored), it’s Somersby and their brand-new Mango & Lime Sparkling Cider, launched right here at GastroBeats 2025. It’s sweet, zesty, and everything in between–so get your bragging rights before it officially hits the shelves!
Meanwhile, if you’re looking to cool down even more, Somersby also has you covered with ice-cold slushies, available in not just their newest flavour, but also in classic favourites like Apple 0.0 and Passionfruit & Orange.
Last but not least, the whole space is perfect for pictures, especially on their giant mango and lime-shaped hot air balloon seats, so be sure to snap a few!
Coca-Cola

And after you’re done getting drunk, experience even more buzz at Coca-Cola Food Fest Zone, where good times, great activities and refreshment collide. There’s a whole range of things to dive into, but as long as you complete any three and purchase a food bundle, you’ll get a shot at winning exclusive Coca-Cola merch at their Giant Plinko board.
Plus, with the “Share a Coke” campaign making a comeback after a decade, here’s the perfect place to snag your favourite name, whether that’s Lao Ban, Auntie, or Chio Bu. Best of all, take this a step even further by purchasing just three Coca-Cola beverages to personalise your very own can with any name that you like–just remember to tag me if you do mine!
Solace Studios

Putting the drinks aside, you know it wouldn’t be right if I wrote about GastroBeats 2025 without mentioning that Solace Studios is also here. Yep, rejoice all fellow Gen-Zers as this leading Korean-style studio has brought Singapore’s first-ever American diner photo booth to the festival!
With 4 booths, 3 photo zones, and over 15 diner-inspired frames, there are plenty of places and styles to strike a pose in! Additionally, the first 1000 people who complete the Pancake Mission Card challenge get to win exclusive Solace Studios merchandise and vouchers, so you’d better be quick when getting on this nostalgic ride back to the ‘50s!
Music

Last but not least, we come to the “Beats” of GastroBeats: the music! This year, the festival is proudly promoting eight bands and musicians from its GIG-ers campaign, who make up a chunk of this year’s line-up.
As talented individuals discovered and nurtured under 53A, one of Singapore’s most beloved bands, they’re now ready to take centre-stage at GastroBeats to share their music with you! Key highlights include the electrifying band Jean Kai and The Way Out, the soulful Alwin & Co., and so much more.
So, if you’re ready to discover the full line-up of GastroBeats 2025 plus everything else it has to offer, be sure to make a trip down to the festival today! And even if you already have, then come on back, since every day is different from the rest!
