Wine lovers, it is your month. Debuting in 2022, the highly anticipated California Wine Month returns to Singapore this June, with deals and activities adding to the festivities.
California Wine Month pays homage to, as you might guess, California wine! It is the world’s fourth-largest wine-producing region, with more than 110 grape varieties grown across diverse terroirs. Plus. 80% of the state’s wine is produced in a certified-sustainable winery currently, with 55% of California winegrape acres (200,000 acres) certified sustainable.
“We’re excited to return to Singapore to showcase the diverse offering from California and California’s efforts related to sustainability are unsurpassed. We want to communicate these efforts and our focus on leaving our world sustained for future generations. We believe that these positive principles are also important to consumers so they are aware when they make their wine choices and can join us on this journey.”, says Christopher Beros, Greater China and Southeast Asia director of the Wine Institute.
Wine discounts
So, what can people look forward to? Good deals, of course!
Running from 1 to 30 June 2025, customers can enjoy enticing discounts on California’s finest wines from over 100 online and physical retail points. These include familiar names like RedMart, FairPrice, Cellarbration, Malt and Wine Asia, Enoteca Singapore, and more.
Each retailer has different labels participating in the celebrations. For instance, The Prisoner Wine Company is one of the few brands being featured by Bottles and Bottles, while Redmart is showcasing options from Trinity Oaks and others. So be sure to check your nearby wine retailer to see what they have up for promotion!
Wine tastings
Besides the promotions, California Wine Month 2025 also lets visitors experience a taste of California with tasting events held by 75cl.sg, Wine Hours, and select FairPrice Singapore outlets.
