MUJI Bugis Junction is back and better than before. After undergoing renovation works, the store has finally been reopened and refreshed, featuring an expanded space that is twice as big as it was previously.
Bugis dwellers might remember MUJI Bugis Junction being the brand’s very first store in Singapore, and with its reopening, fans can expect a refreshed shopping experience, greater space, and a wider range of products available.
Larger space, more items
Let’s talk about what the new MUJI Bugis Junction is all about.
The store has doubled its store size for its refresh, allowing shoppers to explore more of the space they were once familiar with. A new addition to the outlet is the food section, where customers can find a range of items from snacks to drinks, and even frozen foods.
But most of all, the expanded store space brings even more MUJI goodness than previously. You’ll be able to browse through more clothing selections, storage solutions, and home essentials when visiting MUJI Bugis Junction.
New MUJI Arrivals
With the reopening of the store, MUJI Bugis Junction will also be bringing in new items for people to check out.
The store will be the first to launch MUJI’s latest skincare series, featuring a unique fermented rice bran extract developed exclusively by MUJI. The series, which has products like the Booster Serum and Booster Essence Lotion, is free of harsh chemicals (synthetic fragrance, colouring, mineral oil, paraben, alcohol, phenoxyethanol) and caters to all skin types.
Additionally, If you’ve loved the much-loved Lap Desk Cushion, MUJI Bugis Junction is also doing a first launch of new colourways for it – Grey Beige and Brown.
MUJI Bugis Junction Reopening Specials
As part of its reopening, MUJI is also running an exclusive promotion from 22 to 25 May, where customers can enjoy some big discounts on some fan-favourite items.
Customers can take advantage of great savings on the Men’s & Ladies’ Cool Touch Garment Series, such as the Women’s Regular Collar Shirt & Blouse, which is now priced at S$19 (U.P. $29), and the Men’s Short-Sleeve Woven Shirt, now just S$29 (U.P. S$39).
Beyond clothes, discounts can also be found for MUJI’s functional items like the Water Repellent One Shoulder Bag, available for S$19 (U.P. S$39). Meanwhile, the Wooden Tray Stand now costs S$50 (U.P. S$99), and for the avid travellers, the Front Open Carry Case can be purchased at the reduced price of S$149 (U.P. S$249).
Of course, MUJI’s Soft Cushions also join in the promotions. Fans can get the regular Soft Cushions for S$20 (U.P. S$46), with the mini versions sold at S$10 (U.P. S$23.90). The Soft Long Pillows will also be receiving a discount, where they will be priced at just S$15 (U.P. S$59).

Gift-with-Purchase
If you do end up purchasing some items on your shopping trip at MUJI Bugis Junction, you’ll also get to enjoy some additional bonuses. Also running from 22 to 25 May, shoppers who achieve a minimum spend in-store will receive exclusive gifts from MUJI.
Those who spend S$60 nett or more in a single receipt will receive a random assortment of three iron-on embroidery patches, any of which can be used to personalise your MUJI items. For instance, you can iron-on a cute pancake patch onto a MUJI Jersey Crew Neck T-shirt to add a little bit of personality!
Meanwhile, if shoppers are able to spend S$88 nett or more in a single receipt, they get to have a complimentary A3 Jute MyBag and a limited-edition Cold Brew Tea.
