Wu Pao Chun Singapore Celebrates 6th Anniversary With Two New Buns

After making its debut in 2019 at The Capitol, Wu Pao Chun Bakery is celebrating its 6th anniversary in a big way – by introducing two new baked treats for customers to savour.

Wu Pao Chun Bakery is a Taiwanese artisanal boulangerie created by Master Wu Pao Chun, who won the title of ‘Master Baker’ in the 2010 Coupe du Monde de la Boulangerie. The bakery is famous for its award-winning Lychee Rose Royale 荔枝玫瑰 and Red Wine Longan 酒酿桂圆, and for its milestone 6th anniversary, they are unveiling a new pair of creations — the Mango Boule 法式芒果球 and the Blackberry Cheese Crown 黑莓冠.

The New Mango Boule and Blackberry Cheese Crown

First up is the Mango Boule 法式芒果球 (S$8.80), which Wu Pao Chun Bakery has described as a tropical interpretation of a European-style bread roll. It comes as a golden-hued bun, with the inside infused with wine-soaked mango pieces.

Meanwhile, there’s the Blackberry Cheese Crown 黑莓冠 (S$5.60), which looks like a typical chocolate bread on the outside, but hides something surprising inside instead.

Cutting into it reveals some tangy blackberry cream cheese, with bursts of wild blackberry also additionally hidden within the bread.
