Sanpoutei Ramen Paragon Opens: New exclusive offerings at Sanppoutei’s 3rd outlet

The ever-popular Sanpoutei Ramen continues to see snaking lines over at Shaw House and Holland Village, but now there is another location for customers to join the queue. For their 10th anniversary in Singapore,  they are celebrating the milestone by opening their third outlet at Paragon Shopping Centre – Sanpoutei Ramen Paragon.

With a store area of 1,130 square feet and 46 seats available, the new Paragon outlet brings Sanpoutei Ramen’s signature dishes, along with some exclusive offerings. Here is what you can expect with the new store:

Kombu-Infused Tsukemen

Sanpoutei Ramen Paragon: Kombu-Infused Tsukemen
There’s a new tsukemen in town with the addition of the Kombu-Infused Tsukemen on the menu

Tsukemen is fairly uncommon in Singapore, which is no wonder why people flock to Sanpoutei Ramen for their Rich Dried Sardine Tsukemen. And now Tsukemen fans have another option to try, with the store having a new addition to their menu – Kombu-Infused Tsukemen (S$18)

Exclusive to Sanpoutei Ramen Paragon, the dish is served with chilled noodles steeped in a gentle kelp bath—made from an infusion of Rishiri and Gagome Kombu, both harvested from the waters of Hokkaido. Alongside it comes Sanpoutei’s house-crafted soy-based tare, which mellows the kelp taste. Finally, there is a warm broth of Kombu and Bonito, also known as Wari Soup, at the side.

Sanpoutei Ramen encourages customers to enjoy the dish in three parts. First, take in the noodles solo to enjoy the umami undertones from the seaweeds. Next, dip the noodles in the sauce, providing a quiet richness that deepens with every bite. Lastly, pour in the broth to transform the dipping sauce into a soothing endnote.

Shoyu Ramen

Enjoy a new Shoyu Ramen, unique to Sanpoutei Ramen Paragon

If you’ve been to the other Sanpoutei Ramen stores, you’ll remember the Shoyu Ramen (from S$15) on the menu. The dish returns for their latest outlet, but the Sanpoutei Ramen Paragon outlet offers customers a unique iteration.

Sanpoutei Ramen Paragon brings a Shoyu Ramen that is elevated with an exclusive blend of Dried Flying Fish (Ago) and Rishiri Kombu from Hokkaido. Both are slow-simmered for over seven hours and enriched with tamari soy sauce, bringing about a umami-rich broth

The dish is completed with familiar ingredients in chashu, spinach, bamboo shoots, and nori, before adding a marinated Ajitsuke Tamago with a golden, molten core.

So those are the new stuff you can get – only at Sanpoutei Ramen Paragon. Of course, you’ll still get to enjoy their other beloved offerings, such as Nikumori Rich Miso Ramen, Tori Ramen, Maze Soba Chashu, Onigirazu, and more. You can view the full menu here.
