I’m sometimes surprised by how many LG products are available. From TVs to refrigerators, the company has its hands in almost every category for home and living. So, if you’re an LG fan who owns multiple devices from them, you might be interested in seeing what the South Korean giant has to offer in the LG 2025 product slate.
LG recently showcased its entire 2025 product lineup at New Bahru, and with artificial intelligence powering these devices, the big theme on show was AI!—though the company terms it uniquely as Affectionate Intelligence. So come along with us to see what our favourites from the event are!
LG 2025 OLED TVs
First up is LG’s very popular TV category, and of course, we are going straight to the OLED line.
LG’s 2025 OLED TVs are made up of four models – M5, G5, C5, and B5. If you weren’t clear on the naming scheme, the M5 and G5 sit at the top and offer premium features; the main difference between the two is that the M5 is a ‘wireless TV’ that uses a “Zero Connect Box” to reduce cable clutter, while the M5 is functions as a traditional connected TV. Meanwhile, the C5 falls under the mid-range tier, and the B4 is LG’s entry-level OLED TV.
Everyone will no doubt be looking forward to the LG G5, which features an all-new four-stack OLED panel (or, as LG calls it, RGB Primary Tadem OLED). This new panel offers enhanced colour brightness, colour purity, and saturation at higher brightness levels. Its brightness tech is such a big highlight that the company even came up with a new name for it—Brightness Booster Ultimate.
But the G5 isn’t the only one getting an upgrade. The C5 will be the brightest C-series OLED that LG has ever made, hitting peak brightness levels around the 1,000 nits territory. As for the B5, it receives a new Alpha 8 AI Gen 2 processor, which improves the TV’s motion handling and upscaling.
All of the TVs come with a refreshed Magic Remote that acts as the gateway to the AI features. One of them is AI Search, which is able to recognise voices from different people and provides personalised recommendations. Another is AI Picture Wizard. After picking through some picture selections, the feature creates a picture setting customised to your preferences. And as with AI Search, each member of the family can have their own settings tied to them.
That is just the top of the iceberg in terms of AI features, but the LG 2025 OLED TV line looks to be bringing a more personalised watching experience for everyone at home.
LG 2025 Washing Machines
From TVs, we move to washing machines. You may wonder: How does AI factor into a washing machine? Well, that was what LG was there to showcase.
Making the washer tick is AI DD 2.0. Using AI, the washing machine is able to intelligently understand what kind of laundry you have. It will detect the load weight, how soft the fabric is, and also the soil level of the garments. From there, it selects the optimal washing pattern, which can help reduce fabric damage by 10%.
Another cool feature from LG’s 2025 washing machine line is the inclusion of the ezDispense technology. With it, there is no need to debate how much detergent to put in for a load. Just fill up the reservoir once, and the washer will determine the appropriate amount to be used.
So with AI, LG looks to be making washing much easier for the general population, especially those who may not have years of experience using washing machines like their parents have.
LG PuriCare Air Purifier
Air quality was also on the agenda during the showcase of LG’s 2025 product line – namely on the company’s PuriCare purifier and dehumidifier.
For the purifier, we have the LG PuriCare AeroBooster. The sleek and thin air purifier has 360-degree purification using LG’s proprietary UVnano technology and emits the purified air from vents at the top and bottom of the device.
And it has an AI+ Mode that helps with making energy savings. Through this mode, fan speed is auto-adjusted and energy consumption from the AeroBooster is reduced by over 49%, all without compromising the performance of the air purifier.
Air quality can be monitored through an app or the display at the top. Speaking of which, the top can also display mood lighting to create the best ambience for the room the AeroBooster is in.
LG gram 2025 Laptops
Finally, it is time to talk about the LG gram laptops for 2025. I’ve been a big fan of the previous iterations of the laptop, but now LG has made them even more enticing with the help of AI features included in the devices.
Integrated into the laptop is gram AI, which brings a bunch of neat tricks for users. One of them is gram chat On-Device, which provides help based on local data and without the need for an internet connection. You can use it to help summarise text or document files, or even recover lost files – all on-device.
Then there’s gram chat Cloud, which uses OpenAI’s GPT-4o and offers interactive, real-time responses to queries. Plus, it helps with tasks like summarising email content and scheduling events on your calendar.
But that isn’t all the AI stuff you can get from the LG gram laptops. They also come with Microsoft Copilot, an AI assistant built into Windows 11. Copilot has been a feature on new laptops since last year, and it has finally made its way to LG’s line of laptops, bringing some cool features like image generation.
