Attention, sushi fanatics! Get ready for a dose of nostalgia at Sushi Express this May and June! In a delightful (and slightly bonkers) culinary crossover, Sushi Express Singapore is rolling out a limited-time cheese-themed sushi menu inspired by one of the world’s most iconic – and chaotic duos: Tom and Jerry!
From smoky salmon to carbonara-drenched scallops, this celebration is all about scrumptious bites, nostalgic vibes, and collectible cuteness you can’t leave without. So, let’s get into it!
Here’s what you’re in for!
This isn’t your average sushi lineup. Sushi Express is going all out for Tom and Jerry’s 85th anniversary with three brand-new, cheese-forward creations that might even tempt Tom into sharing!
First up is the Smokin’ Camembert Salmon (S$3++), a luxurious take on salmon sushi topped with creamy Hokkaido Camembert, delicately torched for that perfect golden crust. It’s smoky, rich – and highly addictive.
Meanwhile, the Margherita Jumbo Shrimp (S$3++) reimagines pizza night in bite-sized form. With juicy shrimp, melty cheese and a tomatoey zing, it’s quite the combo!
Then there’s the Carbonara Jumbo Scallop (S$3.50++), which takes pristine scallops and layers them with velvety cheese and carbonara sauce, then torches it to a warm, umami-loaded finish. It’s creamy, it’s decadent, and it’s basically pasta night on a sushi plate.
Each dish comes served on exclusive Tom and Jerry-themed plates and even includes a tiny cheese-shaped paper topper to amp up the whimsy. It’s a meal that’s made for the ’gram!
But the fun doesn’t stop at the sushi bar. The promotion spills into the world of Tom and Jerry merchandise, perfect for fans who want a little bit of cartoon fun to-go.
Sushi Express is offering two collectible plate designs and two plushie keychains, while 争鲜gogo is dishing out exclusive foldable carrier bags. And both brands are sharing the love with adorable spinning desk stands!
