After a blockbuster debut in 2023, the Singapore Festival of Football (SFOF) returns in July 2025 – this time with a brand-new five-year partnership and a power-packed lineup that reads like a Champions League group stage.
This year’s edition will see Arsenal FC, AC Milan, and Newcastle United FC grace the pitch at the National Stadium, as Singapore becomes a pre-season pit stop for some of Europe’s biggest footballing machines.
Whether you’re a die-hard Gooner, a lifelong Rossoneri, or one of Newcastle’s ever-growing global faithful, this is a can’t-miss opportunity to see your favourite teams up close and personal! Running from 23 to 27 July 2025, the festival promises a concentrated dose of top-tier football action right at your doorstep!
The announcement kicked off a touch of star power! Representing their clubs were three familiar faces – Arsenal right-back Bacary Sagna, legendary AC Milan player Serginho, and former Newcastle United goalkeeper Shay Given.
The three stars shared some stories and personal experiences as to why they’re excited for their teams to come to Singapore to play. For Arsenal, it’s a return to Singapore for the first time since 2018. Coming off the back of that stunning 3-0 blowout win over Real Madrid in the Champions League, Bacary shared that he’s happy that the team will be able to give back to their international fans here.
Newcastle United hasn’t made the trip since 1996, and Shay Given was happy that Newcastle— the new Carabao Cup champions—would be able to come and put on a good show, despite it being a friendly.
As for AC Milan, this will be their first-ever match on Singaporean soil! AC Milan Hall-of-Famer Serginho said that he was excited to see the passion from the local Milanisti come time for their match against Arsenal at the Singapore Festival of Football!
The fixtures planned at the National Stadium include Arsenal vs AC Milan on Wednesday, 23 July, an Arsenal open training session on Friday, 25 July, and Arsenal vs Newcastle United on Sunday, 27 July.
Tickets for the Singapore Festival of Football 2025 go on sale to the general public on Friday, 25 April 2025, at 12pm. Fans who want early access (and possibly some perks) should register for the waitlist on Ticketek Singapore by Monday, 21 April 2025.
