Now, for the first time in over 25 years, Disney is bringing fresh enchantment with new sets, stunning costumes, and state-of-the-art effects that will leave you spellbound. This is a theatrical experience lovingly crafted by an all-star creative team that includes many of the original Broadway masterminds.
Olivier Award nominee Matt West directs and choreographs this new production, joined by musical genius Alan Menken – the same legend behind The Little Mermaid, Aladdin, and The Hunchback of Notre Dame. And with lyrics from Tim Rice and the late, great Howard Ashman, the show has all the songs we adore – Belle, Gaston, Be Our Guest, and, of course, the sweeping, heart-melting title ballad, Beauty and the Beast.
But there’s even more to love. Fans of the stage adaptation can look forward to additional songs written exclusively for the musical, including the powerful If I Can’t Love Her and A Change in Me, which deepen the emotional pull of the story.
With Linda Woolverton’s brilliant book – she wrote the original screenplay, after all – and Tony Award-winning costume designer Ann Hould-Ward back to work her magic, this production is bound to be both an emotional and visual masterpiece.
