For all the caffeine enthusiasts out there, Blue Bottle Coffee has officially touched down in Singapore! Nestled in the sleek halls of LUMINE at Raffles City, this isn’t just another ‘hidden gem’, it’s a cafe option that promises to revolutionise your coffee experience!
Priding themselves on sustainability, quality, and working with the local community, Blue Bottle Coffee is a new kind of coffee joint. Originating from a tiny cart in Oakland, California, and now caffeinating the tastebuds of Tokyo, Seoul, and Shanghai, Blue Bottle has finally graced Southeast Asia with its presence, starting in Singapore!
A Menu Rooted in Precision and Place

Blue Bottle’s menu in Singapore features all of their classic offerings, along with some familiar flavours! Available are the brand’s signature beverages – espresso, cappuccino, mocha, and the much-loved Cold Brew – as well as the New Orleans-Style Iced Coffee, a rich, sweet drink brewed with roasted chicory, milk and organic cane sugar. It’s a staple in Blue Bottle’s global lineup and a fitting choice for our sweltering Singaporean heat!
The non-coffee menu is equally considered. Offerings include a Matcha Latte, Hot Chocolate, Lemon Yuzu Fizz, and Kimino Sparkling Juices – each selected with the same level of care as the coffee.

But where the menu truly shines is its partnership with Bakery Brera, a local bakery known for its artisanal European-style pastries. Together, they’ve created two Singapore-exclusive items: a Pandan Canelé with Kaya and a Coconut Kouign-Amann. Both are thoughtful nods to local flavours, integrated seamlessly into the Blue Bottle experience.
The rest of the pastry lineup includes buttery croissants, pain au chocolat, almond croissants, and savoury options like the Triple Cheese & Turkey Croissant. Everything is made fresh daily and selected to complement the café’s carefully brewed coffee!
Why Singapore, and Why Now?

Blue Bottle’s decision to open its first Southeast Asian café in Singapore isn’t random—it’s strategic. Singapore’s coffee culture has matured significantly over the past decade. It’s no longer just about the morning caffeine fix; it’s about experience, sustainability, and a deeper connection to the provenance of what’s in your cup.
With its headquarters in California and cafés in cities like Tokyo, Seoul, and Shanghai, Blue Bottle tends to expand slowly and deliberately. Singapore’s combination of global sophistication and local authenticity makes it a natural next step.
A Café Designed for Presence

The new location occupies a 135-square-metre space on the ground floor of LUMINE Singapore, blending seamlessly into the broader Raffles City complex. But stepping inside, it becomes clear: this is not just another café. It’s a space designed with intention – both in form and function.
At the centre is a U-shaped island bar, offering a 360-degree experience for guests. No tall counters are separating the barista from the customer, no back-of-house to hide the craft. Everything is transparent, open, and welcoming.
Adding a local touch, Blue Bottle has partnered with Singapore-based floral studio The Florté. Fresh, seasonal arrangements are placed throughout the café, bringing in natural colour and texture while reinforcing the brand’s connection to craft, beauty, and place.
Values That Go Beyond the Cup

At the heart of Blue Bottle’s approach is a commitment to quality and sustainability. All of their coffee is specialty-grade, scoring 84 points or higher on a 100-point scale. Many of their beans are certified organic, and all are sourced through direct relationships with producers who are paid fairly for their work.
The brand roasts its coffee in small batches at regional hubs, ensuring freshness and consistency. Beans are roasted to order, with each batch tailored to highlight the unique characteristics of its origin.
The Coffee on Offer!

Blue Bottle offers five distinct whole-bean coffees in Singapore, each with its character and purpose. Bella Donovan is a thick, stomach-and-soul-warming blend, perfect for those cold, rainy days! With elements of sweet molasses, crisp raspberry and delectable chocolate all at play, it’s a delightfully comforting coffee!
For those who prefer lighter, fruit-forward profiles, Three Africas offers a radiant blend of East African beans with notes of blueberry, raisin, and lemon. It’s a favourite among those coffee enthusiasts who enjoy clarity and vibrancy in a cup!
On the other end of the spectrum is Hayes Valley Espresso, a decadent, rich blend that brings to mind the flavours you get biting into a warm orange-glazed chocolate muffin. This feels like the kind of heavy-duty drink you have when you want all your worries to melt away into the coffee.
Giant Steps is a bold, full-bodied blend that brings comfort and richness to the forefront. With a texture that is viscous and deeply satisfying, it’s the kind of coffee that anchors your morning – or grounds a quiet afternoon. The flavour profile leans into indulgent notes of cocoa, toasted marshmallow, and graham cracker, offering warmth and familiarity in every sip.
Rounding out the lineup is Night Light Decaf, a decaffeinated coffee that can more than hold its own with its caffeinated brethren. Creamy and gently malted, it offers a smooth, rounded cup with surprising dimension.
Notes of crème brûlée and vanilla bring a soft sweetness, while a hint of key lime adds just enough brightness to keep things lively. Whether brewed as a mellow afternoon filter or a late-night espresso, it’s versatile, comforting, and thoughtfully crafted for those who want all the flavour without the caffeine.
Whether you’re brewing at home or gifting a fellow enthusiast, these five offerings reflect both Blue Bottle’s technical precision and its commitment to ethically sourced, thoughtfully roasted coffee!
