On most days, yelling football chants in a convention centre would get you escorted out. But on 24 May 2025, it’s not only encouraged – it’ll be required! Clash of the Giants is taking over Resorts World Sentosa, turning the Resorts World Convention Centre into Singapore’s most passionate, pint-fuelled pitch-side party.
Expect to bear witness to a once-in-a-lifetime futsal match, training sessions with the legends and loads of free goodies – no matter if you’re a Manchester United or Liverpool fan, or a neutral, this is a night you simply cannot miss out on!
Legends Never Die
The main event? A futsal clash of titanic proportions between retired greats from Manchester United and Liverpool.
From the Red Devils, you can expect to see legends such as the French maestro Louis Saha, human wall Jaap Stam, and the hero of the 1999 Treble, Teddy Sheringham. As for their eternal English rivals, Liverpool fans can look forward to catching glimpses of goalscoring machine Robbie Fowler, and iconic goalkeeper David James.
These aren’t just names from football’s past – they’re walking, talking chapters of the sport’s history. And for one night, they’ll be lacing up their football boots one more time and playing in front of their ardent fans once again!
The Match Is Just the Beginning
Before the match even kicks off, fans can dive into exclusive Futsal Clinics – not your average repetitive drills from YouTube, but hands-on sessions with football greats and coaches from the World Football League. Whether you’re a rising talent or just someone who’s never kicked a ball a day in their life, this is where you get the inside scoop on footwork, strategy, and possibly how to look cool while scoring.
Adding to the experience, attendees of the clinics get to pick their allegiance, rep their colours proudly, and walk away with exclusive merch.
Now, we know what you’re here for: the legends. At 3pm on match day, a limited group of just 100 fans will get the rare chance to meet and greet their football heroes. Bring your memorabilia, your childhood photos of you in full kit, and the questions you’ve held for years – because this is your chance to hear the stories that didn’t make it to press conferences.
It’s not every day you get to ask Robbie Fowler what it felt like to score in front of the Kop…and have him actually answer. Still not done? There’s also a live Q&A session during the event, where lucky fans can pose their most burning questions and hear untold tales from the pitch.

If you’re the type who believes football is best enjoyed from a plush seat with a drink in hand, then the Courtside Seats are calling your name. For S$308, you’ll be seated right next to the action on deluxe sofas, enjoying two hours of free-flowing drinks while the legends battle it out mere metres away.
Just when you think things can’t get any more decadent, on 25 May, the morning after the match, fans can head to Adventure Cove Waterpark for Breakfast with the Legends. Imagine eating a full English breakfast next to the likes of Jaap Stam and Louis Saha!
