M1 Maxx Adds eSIM To Its SIM-Only Plans

Back in August last year, M1 launched its all-new Maxx plan – a SIM-only plan which offers its users lots of data at an enticingly affordable price. Now, the company is upgrading the service with the launch of a new eSIM option; now available for new sign-ups and number port-ins.

With Maxx eSIM, M1 provides several benefits to users. For one, activation of the eSIM is speedy. Once you’ve purchased the plan, you can activate the eSIM in less than two minutes. It saves a lot of time, especially compared to physical SIMs, where you either need to make an in-store collection or wait for it to be delivered to you.

Another big pro of using eSIM is that you can have multiple eSIM profiles on a single device. So, if you need different numbers to separate your personal and work matters, you can seamlessly make the switch between the two all on the same device.

M1’s new eSIM offering follows the same concept of affordability while providing a generous amount of data. The Maxx eSIM plan starts at the low price of S$7.90 (for the first year, S$9.90 thereafter), which gives a whopping 290GBs worth of data to use both in Singapore and Malaysia. And that also comes with 500 minutes of local outgoing calls, 99 local SMS, and unlimited incoming calls.

But that’s just the tip of the iceberg. For travel, Maxx also has your back. This starter Maxx SIM-only plan also provides 10GBs of roaming data for countries around APAC (Malaysia, Indonesia, Bangladesh, Thailand and Taiwan). Saving you the hassle of purchasing separate travel SIMs or swapping physical cards.

And don’t worry if your next overseas trip isn’t to any of those places because you also get 2GB of international roaming data to enjoy (includes Australia, Bangladesh, Brunei, Cambodia, Canada, China, Croatia, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Laos, Macau, Malaysia, New Zealand, Philippines, Russia, South Korea, Sri Lanka, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, Vietnam, and USA).

If that’s got you interested in making a change, you can visit the Maxx official website to sign up or check out the other eSIM plan options that M1 are offering, which include an S$14 with 350GB plan and S$18 with 600GB plan.
