What. A. Weekend. If you didn’t already know, SEVENTEEN just had their SEVENTEEN ‘RIGHT HERE’ WORLD TOUR IN SINGAPORE on 25 and 26 January, having sold out both shows at the National Stadium. And it was absolutely insane. Not only did the members have CARATs cheering and screaming all night, but the atmosphere was hyped even before the group stepped on stage.
Upon entering the stadium, the group’s past music videos play on the big screen, and CARATs’ excitement is palpable right as the gates open. Let’s be honest: Which other fandom would be cheering and singing along with the music videos right from the get-go?
I was lucky enough to attend both days of the concert – a seat in Cat 4 on the first day with a beautiful expansive view of everything, as well as a floor seat in Cat 1 on the second day to soak up all the fire vibes of the concert. And every cent I spent was completely worth it. I’ve been to several concerts before this one, but I’ve never been this immersed.
As the lights go dark, the loud cheers become even more deafening. SEVENTEEN has been dubbed ‘The Theatre Kids of K-pop’ for as long as I can remember, so it’s no surprise that each and every stage was brimming with energy. Filled with incredible dance performances, adorable skits and a specialised CARAT TIME that saw CARATs having a full-out karaoke session at the National Stadium, let’s just say nothing could ever top SEVENTEEN’s concert for me.
And now, days after the concert, the post-concert depression is hitting hard. So, let’s alleviate that, and relive SEVENTEEN’s concert again. Dive back into a brilliant setlist, bonus songs and performances, as well as my favourites from the concert!
My HIGHLIGHTs From The Setlist
Crush
SEVENTEEN sure doesn’t wait to build their momentum, having fans cheering to Fear and Fearless from the start. However, my favourite stage from ACT I is for sure: Crush. The group launched straight into it after Ash, so I was scrambling to record the stage on both days. After all, when else can I scream, “You are my crush, I got a crush on you” to my ult group?
Decked out in stylish black-and-white fitted outfits, the members looked alluring, hitting every point of the fast-paced choreography. As a fan of their louder, hip-hop-inspired songs, Crush has been a long-time favourite of mine, so seeing it live was absolutely mindblowing. Seeing it twice in a row? If you told me that last year, I would’ve thought you were playing a prank on me.
Monster
When I heard Monster was going to be part of the setlist, the Hiphop Team girlie in me lost it. My favourite track by this unit, and I was going to see it live – how insane is that? Instantly one of my most played songs from the start, Monster, was on repeat the first few weeks from its release. And not once did it disappoint. This Halloween-esque track combines the charisma and confidence of the Hiphop Team with a funky and bouncy melody filled with flawless beat drops that you can’t help but vibe to.
Rather than the coordination and hard-hitting choreography that is synonymous with SEVENTEEN, this stage is instead more playful and cocky, with the Hiphop Team members just vibing while CARATs screamed and cheered. If WONWOO tells us to scream out, you bet we’ll make sure everyone can hear us.
Candy
This next song might be Candy, but our Vocal Team members are, without a doubt, sweeter than that. I raved about this song when it first came out, but nothing compares to listening to it live. A far cry from the Performance Team’s clean-cut choreography and the Hiphop Team’s nonchalant confidence, the Vocal Team presents CARATs with a dreamy atmosphere to rest, relax and simply exist to their mellifluous voices.
Dressed as beautiful princes and standing on a shared dais, the Vocal Team members looked like they stepped straight out of a fantasy manhwa. Now, I know what you’re thinking – what about JEONGHAN? My heart was prepared to miss his voice as soon as this track started playing, but I screamed so loudly the second I heard his vocals echoing through the stereo. To many’s surprise, none of the Vocal Team members covered his part, and we were able to revel in the studio version of his singing in the stadium! I’m not usually one for ballads, but this song always makes me smile (and/or cry).
Cheers To Youth
I swear I’m a Hiphop Team stan but it’s not my fault that Vocal Team’s unit songs are so good! The right blend of soothing and uplifting, Cheers To Youth, is the song to turn to when everything seems to be going wrong in your life. Despite having many songs that fall into this style and line of message, SEVENTEEN never fails to change up and make each and every song meaningful and heartfelt.
A fusion of classic Korean OSTs, nostalgic 2000s K-pop, and J-Rock influences, this track highlights the gentle but inspiring vocals of WOOZI in the opening, as well as the bright and hopeful voice of DOKYEOM. To all the CARATs that heard this live, I hope that you felt the same relatability and comfort I felt when listening to the Vocal Team perform so freely!
Oh My!
An adorable opening to ACT III, Oh My!, sees the members starting the performance with childlike playfulness. With MINGYU and DINO nailing a basket each on each day as well as JOSHUA and SEUNGKWAN playing badminton on the stage, this stage shifted the tone drastically from the charismatic previous two acts.
There’s no other group that strives to be funnier than SEVENTEEN does. After all, they even incorporated a skit into their stage! Balancing being witty and being powerful performers is no easy task, but SEVENTEEN makes it look like a breeze. With how upbeat and playful Oh My! is, there’s no better way to charm CARATs!
Ima -Even if the world ends tomorrow-
No matter how many times I see the intro choreography for this song, I will always be in awe. One of the best songs that displays SEVENTEEN’s chemistry, the track’s opening dance also pays tribute to all the old songs that SEVENTEEN has released up until last year. Ima -Even if the world ends tomorrow- has always reminded me of an OST of a youth drama, so seeing it live and watching the pure joy radiating off the members as they perform it just furthers that notion.
With the core message of embracing the now, Ima -Even if the world ends tomorrow- leaves such a visceral impact on me, especially with how the members will be slowly enlisting soon, and it’ll be a long time before they are a complete group again.
Super
CARATs were already singing and cheering along to its M/V before the concert started. But when the members performed it, let’s just say everyone went crazy! This stage is nothing short of legendary, from the moment the intro starts until the members’ ending poses. One of their biggest dance numbers, every version of Super’s performance is as grand as the original.
More than just a hype song, Super brings listeners through a rollercoaster of an experience, with some parts hitting hard while other sections slow the flow down to build the momentum up. Coupled with a large group choreography and the fan chants from the audience, it is safe to say that the volume would’ve peaked during this stage as the concert hit its all-time high. I’m sure that if non-fans saw the stadium during this song from a bird’s eye, they would be wowed.
VERY NICE
Signature to SEVENTEEN concerts, a neverending VERY NICE encore is to be expected. With 2022’s concert hitting a record of 30 rounds of VERY NICE, I couldn’t wait to see how many times it would occur this time. Over the course of two nights, CARATs were treated to a total of nine rounds, with four on the first day and five on the second. And if you haven’t been on the floor during VERY NICE, you have not unlocked the song’s true potential.
On my feet and jumping for nearly the entirety of the encore section, I left the concert sweating and drenched. Not jumping is not an option either, for the members have eagle eyes that can and will call you out if you are jumping and cheering with everyone else. They don’t shout “Everybody, jump!” for nothing!
Don’t Listen In Secret To These Bonus Songs
Singaporean CARATs truly won because what do you mean we got this plethora of bonus songs for two days? From All My Love to Circles, tracks that many had hoped would be on the setlist were played on both days. It was an extremely difficult decision, but here are my top five bonus songs that had me cheering and singing along!
Same dream, same mind, same night
A little tidbit about this song: I couldn’t remember the title for the life of me during the concert, but I knew the entire chorus. It got stuck in my head when I was reviewing all my concert footage and photos – unsurprising, what with main vocals DOKYEOM and SEUNGKWAN serenading the entire stadium!
Admittedly, I didn’t listen to Same dream, same mind, same night a lot before the concert. But post-concert? It might just be one of my favourite ballads now! While the song itself is a masterpiece to listen to online, the raw vocals in the stadium are incomparable. The main vocalists’ dulcet tones were like a balm smoothing over a rough day – I just can’t get enough of it.
CBZ (Prime time)
I called it! After the release of BSS’s 2nd Single Album ‘Teleparty’ in early January, there was a huge chance that they would perform at least a snippet of the title on stage! Another super hype song, CBZ (Prime time), was showcased during the members’ intro-ments. Everyone was chanting “Youth is now” with the BSS members as they performed their iconic ending dance number.
Since I attended both days, I heard it not once, not twice, but three times! The infectious energy that permeated the entire stadium with a single snippet of this track was mind-blowing.
Kidult
As one of the top songs that I find comfort in, I never would have thought I would be able to hear it live! Kidult is simply that song. In fact, it was created as leader SEUNGCHEOL wanted to challenge main vocalists DOKYEOM and SEUNGKWAN – and they did a phenomenal job in hitting those expectations.
Immaculately delivering to CARATs a song that they can not only relate to but also seek solace in, SEVENTEEN kicks the song off with a playful melody before exploding into memorable instrumentation and vocals. In the snippet that the members sang live, everyone was blessed with the raw vocals during the high notes in the song, so even though we didn’t get the full live, I’ll still count it as a win!
Fighting ft Pi Cheolin
It is one of the most – if not the most, in my book – iconic performances of Fighting to date; you wouldn’t believe the number of screams when DINO (in his alter ego of Pi Cheolin) started rapping. It’s a given that I was part of those cheers as well. This legendary stage was born from the 2024 GDA stage of BSS’s Fighting and is one of the performances I could not get enough of until now.
Perfect for SEVENTEEN’s neverending encore, Fighting is here to recharge your energy if you’re tired out from all the jumping. If you thought that BSS performing this is energetic, wait until you see all the members of SEVENTEEN do it! The predecessor to CBZ (Prime time), there’s a reason why the original version became the official cheering song for the South Korean team in the Paris Olympics.
Dandelion
Dedicated to his late friend Moonbin from ASTRO, whose birthday fell on the second day of the concert, SEUNGKWAN sang Dandelion to celebrate it. While many moments during the concert were incredibly heartfelt, this was the part where I got teared up so quickly. Everyone already knows how much Moonbin meant to SEUNGKWAN, so being there and hearing this song live… whew, I’m tearing up again after listening to the video I took.
If you replay the video, you can hear the moment everyone fell silent to listen to SEUNGKWAN sing for Moonbin. Gentle and emotional, he definitely did the song justice in this beautiful tribute to his friend.
Healing With These Moments

And of course, concerts are not just about the songs but also the moments in between! It’s not uncommon for the members to speak other languages when touring other countries, but something just hit different when I heard JOSHUA speaking in Mandarin. Hailing from L.A., there’s already something about hearing JOSHUA talk in English. Speaking in Mandarin, though? Let’s just say he had a whole bunch of CARATs (and me) floored and cheering. If he wasn’t already on my bias line, he would’ve shot up so quickly!
Since we can’t expect all the members to speak English, there is often a translator for concerts like these. And the SEVENTEEN ‘RIGHT HERE’ WORLD TOUR IN SINGAPORE is no different. Combining that with the mischievous personalities of the members (let’s be honest, it’s usually MINGYU and DOKYEOM), we got many priceless moments!
With how dramatic they usually are on camera, exaggerating on stage is second nature for the members. Never did we think that the translator would play along as well. Hearing the translator mimic and match the tones of the members was absolutely comical that even the members were losing it on stage.
And finally, the moments I will remember forever and have affectionately dubbed as ‘Cart Time’. Taking place after the karaoke session that was ‘CARAT TIME’, the members kickstart their encore with a series of songs as they move through the venue floor on four carts. With my seat being near the back of the floor section, that meant that the members would be right there when they passed by.

These few minutes unlocked a core memory, and hey, if VERNON, MINGHAO, and WONWOO looked at me, of course, I’m not going to stop talking about it for the next year! The members were close enough that I could make out their features without even needing my phone — just how insane is that?
SEVENTEEN ‘RIGHT HERE’ WORLD TOUR IN SINGAPORE
What a show… Writing this again has seriously made me go through all the moments in the concert in my head and on screen. And honestly, I really don’t think any concert will ever top this one! Beyond just being idols and performers, SEVENTEEN are also incredibly creative entertainers, with each and every iteration of their tours bringing a different vibe while being no less entertaining.
While this concert is something I’ll never stop talking about, I definitely missed JEONGHAN and JUN. JEONGHAN, with his pretty vocals, and JUN with his powerful yet effortless dance skills, I nearly gave this entire concert a miss when I learned that they wouldn’t be joining. Since both are part of my bias line, I felt like skipping out wouldn’t have been so bad – now, I’m so glad that I didn’t do so!
With a discography as extensive as SEVENTEEN’s, there are bound to be songs I wished to have seen live. Even three hours of SEVENTEEN wasn’t enough! A stage that I would love to see is Pretty U, one of the songs that got the group dubbed as ‘The Theatre Kids of K-pop’. Last performed live in 2023, I can’t wait to see it on stage again! Another would be 1 TO 13 from their latest album. With how cute the song already sounds, I can’t imagine what the stage is going to be like if they ever performed it live!
I hope this list has alleviated some of that post-concert depression! Of course, this list doesn’t cover every part of the concert, so let us know what your favourite moments were on our Facebook, Instagram, or TikTok!
