Soy-vour A New Flavour at the Museum of Ice Cream this Festive Season!

If you heard that you would be eating soy sauce and ice cream, you would assume they weren’t anywhere near each other in a meal, let alone part of the same dish! Well, prepare to be wowed by this new collaboration between the Museum of Ice Cream (MOIC) and famed brand Tai Hua this Lunar New Year with the release of their new soy sauce gelato

So, without further ado, let’s dive into what makes this new flavour so soy-prisingly special, and all the exciting things you can expect from the Tai Hua collaboration at the Museum of Ice Cream!

The All-New Soy Sauce Gelato at MOIC

MOIC Soy: Ice cream
Looks delicious!

Picture this: creamy, milky gelato with just the right amount of sweetness, blended expertly with the rich, umami depth of Tai Hua’s iconic soy sauce, topped off with crunchy, salty caramel bits, that create a delightful contrast of tastes and textures! I’ll admit, I was sceptical at first, but after the first few bites – and then the next few scoops of ice cream – I had become a true believer in this soy sauce and gelato experiment!

At the heart of the new release is Tai Hua’s ever-versatile soy sauce. Brewed from premium soybeans, it’s been a household staple for over 70 years! While you might know it better in stir-fries and stews, this collaboration proves that it can be remixed into different forms that’ll surprise even the most veteran of soy sauce consumers!

For an extra kick, adventurous eaters – or those who really love their soy sauce – can sprinkle their gelato with moromi dust – a by-product of producing soy sauce that adds a concentrated boost of umami to any bite!

This limited-edition gelato is truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience! It’s light and refreshing, perfect for Singapore’s eternal summer weather, and daring enough to keep you coming back for seconds. Plus, it’s a fantastic way to kick off the new year with something different.

More Than Just Ice Cream!
