Winding up for a feast this Chinese New Year? Singapore’s dining scene is ready to welcome the Year of the Snake! From set menus packed with symbolic dishes to buffets fit for royalty, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

In this guide, we’ve rounded up some of the most exciting Chinese New Year dining experiences across the city, so prepare to fill your tummy with all things yummy!

YÀN’s Cantonese Delights

CNY Menus 2025: YÀN

First up, we have YÀN coming out with six specially curated set menus, à la carte delights, and take-home feasts. Whether you’re dining in their elegant restaurant or celebrating at home, YÀN’s offerings are a delicious way to mark the season of joy, renewal, and abundance.

Start your celebrations with the Kaleidoscope of Prosperity Yu Sheng in ‘Shun De’ Style. Picture a mountain of crispy fried vermicelli that crackles with peanut oil, symbolising festive firecrackers, surrounded by a rainbow of vegetables, tender yellowtail slices, and sakura shrimps. Topped with gold flakes and paired with a tangy, savoury dressing, this dish is bound to be a fantastic start at the table.

For those who prefer a home celebration, how about the Harvest Pen Cai for a hearty meal? Overflowing with 18 premium ingredients – from whole abalone and sea cucumber to roast pork and prawns – this decadent claypot dish is a labour of love. Each ingredient is individually prepared before simmering together in a house-made superior stock!

Known for its authentic Cantonese cuisine, YÀN’s festive set menus feature comforting dishes like the Braised Chicken and Pumpkin Broth with Fish Maw and Conpoy, its golden broth simmered for hours to create a rich, velvety texture.

Finish your feast on a sweet note with desserts like the refreshing Chilled Roselle Flower Jelly with Barley and the indulgent Deep-Fried Sesame Balls with Pandan Lotus Seed Paste. YÀN’s got your back for festive gifting, too! Their array of treats, including pineapple tarts and XO Spicy Sauce, make lovely presents to share this Chinese New Year.

For the main event, the CNY Set Menu (S$80++ per guest, minimum 2 guests) is a communal dining dream from the nostalgic Mini-trio Appetiser featuring Golden Crumb Scallop, Kueh Pie Tee, and Chicken Satay, to hearty Sharing Plates like Wok-fried Prawns, Braised Sea Cucumber with Abalone, and Deep-fried Trout. Tablescape’s Abundant Feasts & Auspicious Delights

CNY Menus 2025: Tablescape

Tablescape Restaurant & Bar is all set to welcome the Year of the Snake with a lineup of offerings that put a Modern European twist on classic traditions. Their curated takeaway menu, in particular, seems scrumptious!

The Tablescape Seafood Yu Sheng (S$188 nett, serves up to 10) is a dish – designed in the shape of a snake – that includes Josper-grilled octopus, local lobster, and sashimi of maguro and salmon. The finishing touch? Golden crackers, avruga caviar, ikura, and an edible gold leaf, all brought together with a honey sesame dressing.

Another dish I personally would be so down to try is the Prosperity in a Pot (S$218 nett, serves up to 6). This take on the classic pen cai brims with abalone, lobster, scallops, and other delicacies, resting in a herbaceous broth inspired by Italian acqua pazza.

Hosting can be a chore, so if you wanna make planning easier for yourself, the Tablescape Prosperity Set is the answer. Available in two sizes (S$299 nett for 4 to 6 pax; S$428 nett for 6 to 8 pax), these sets include highlights like the Prosperity Yu Sheng, Honey Soya Sauce Chicken, and Lotus Leaf Fried Rice.

For those who wish to dine in as a special treat, the Auspicious Treasures Set Menu (S$88++ per person, minimum of 2 pax) is also a luxurious way to celebrate. From Morel Mushroom Chicken Soup to Soya Braised Chicken and Champagne Gel with Forest Berries, your tummy will thank you for the extra love!
