Year of the Snake Collection
With the Year of the Snake Collection, Starbucks’ merchandise this time ‘round is elegant and all, but still carries a touch of playfulness. The drinkware and accessories feature baby snakes with delicate floral designs in serene pastel pink, orange, and yellow hues.
For anyone who loves staying hydrated (that should be all of you, by the way), the Stanley Quencher – in its limited-edition colour – sounds like the perfect companion for you. And if you have a soft spot for all things cute, let me warn you about the baby snake lush keychain and beautifully crafted ceramic plate. Cuteness overload, to say the least!
Oh, we can’t leave out the seasonal Bearista plush either – a cuddly buddy who can join your celebrations at home.
Prosperity Bearista Collection
New year’s got you grooving to a new rhythm? The Prosperity Bearista Collection takes inspiration from the energy of lion dance and the grace of koi fish. And the result is quite the festive lineup!
Get your hands on mugs and tumblers adorned with intricate lion dance elements and koi fish motifs. And, if you ask me, the Bearista keychain dressed up in a mini lion dance costume makes for a great gift for the little ones at your Lunar New Year gatherings – or even as a new bag charm for yourself!
All merchandise will be available from 3 January 2025 in-stores, on the Starbucks Online Store at 10am, and on LazMall and ShopeeMall at 12pm.
Food and Drinks
No celebration is complete without indulging in some delicious treats, am I right? Start your morning with the Chicken Luncheon, Tamago & Cheese Brioche Bun – savoury sandwich that’s soft, salty-sweet, and thoroughly satisfying.
Is that sweet tooth calling for more? Give it an answer with the Lemon Meringue Cheesecake – a tangy, buttery delight – or the Starbucks Pure Matcha & Yuzu Cake, a marriage between notes earthy and citrusy.
And a warm welcome for the returning favourite – the Starbucks Vienna Cream Latte! With its velvety Vienna cream foam, caramel notes, and kiss of mascarpone cheese, this cosy drink is available hot, iced, or blended.
All food items will be available from 3 January 2025 while the Starbucks Vienna Creamy Latte will be available from 15 January 2025 for all to enjoy in-store, via the Starbucks app for Mobile Order & Pay and Starbucks Delivers, as well as via their food delivery partners – GrabFood, Foodpanda and Deliveroo.
Promotions
Lunar New Year calls for sharing joy – in my book, that means sharing snacks. With Assorted Cookies and Wafer Rolls – from Walnut Crisps to Chocolate Wafer Rolls made with none other than Starbucks coffee – you’ve got splendid options for gifting or passing around the table.
