After a multi-year glow-up that could rival the most dramatic fairy tale makeover, Grand Hyatt Singapore is finally back, just in time for Christmas. What’s more, they’re back with a bang, offering Christmas-themed culinary delights from their in-house restaurants, including a whole selection you can get delivered to your Christmas party! Imagine dishes straight from Michelin-starred restaurants on your dinner table, as good as they would be served at Grand Hyatt Singapore.
Without further ado, let’s get into what’s on the menu! Here’s a look at what’s making this season merry and bright at the newly refurbished Grand Hyatt Singapore.
Christmas at The Shop

First stop: The Shop, Grand Hyatt’s culinary wonderland disguised as a gourmet market as fancy as any of the schmancy markets in Europe.
Here, you can grab everything you need for your Christmas dinner, from main courses like the Slow-Roasted Whole Christmas Tom Turkey to desserts like the Yule Log Cake and Homemade Red Velvet Cake! Other highlights include the Classic Baked Ham and Marzipan Stollen, and in addition, there are festive hampers for sale featuring sweet treats like Handcrafted Pralines, Gingerbread Houses, and Traditional Panettone!

I was able to sample some of the food on offer at The Shop, and the highlight was definitely the Handcrafted Pralines! They come in incredible variety, but my personal favourite was the Hazelnut Praline – a literal bite of happiness, equal parts sweet, creamy and nutty in a perfect small package!
As for the turkey, I gave that a try as well, and it was perfectly golden, tender, and paired with a savoury gravy and tangy cranberry sauce, it hit all the right notes! Not to be forgotten either was the Classic Baked Ham, which came glazed in a maple-mustard concoction with a boozy rum and raisin sauce that was indulgent without being overwhelming.
Pete’s Place and StraitsKitchen

If you’re more about dining in than takeaway, Grand Hyatt Singapore’s restaurants have you sorted with festive menus that range from Italian indulgence to local culinary nostalgia.
Pete’s Place, the hotel’s beloved Italian trattoria, is pulling out all the stops with its Christmas Eve Dinner Buffet and Christmas Day Brunch! You can’t miss out on their Italian Prime Rib Roast and Cacciucco alla Livornese seafood stew – the Italian Prime Rib Roast is rich and tender, and the seafood stew is hearty, flavourful, like a warm hug from the Tuscan coast. And don’t even get me started on the tiramisu – it’s the kind of dessert that has you coming back for thirds and fourths!
Over at StraitsKitchen, the festive menu is a celebration of Singapore’s diverse culinary heritage, featuring dishes like Pineapple Stuffed Tom Turkey Roast and Sambal-Marinated Barramundi Fillet. The Roasted Hainanese Style Duck deserves a special shoutout for its perfectly crispy skin and juicy meat – it’s a festive twist on a local classic that’ll make for a uniquely Singaporean Christmas!
Oasis and Le Pristine

For a more laid-back celebration, Oasis offers poolside dining with a tropical twist. Just imagining a barbecue under the stars, with dishes like Grilled Lobster Thermidor and Barbecued Christmas Turkey Roll on order has me salivating!
But if you’re looking to go all out this Christmas, Le Pristine Singapore has you covered. Curated by Michelin-starred Chef Sergio Herman, the menu is a masterclass in sophisticated holiday dining.
I tasted their Black Pepper Scallop, which was something I unashamedly had multiple servings of throughout the night. The scallop was juicy and tender, served with a garnish of crunchy vegetables and a fragrant sauce that elevated the dish to something truly spectacular.
