Get ready to fire up your appetites, because Sentosa GrillFest 2024 is returning for its seventh smokin’ hot edition! This year, Siloso Beach is about to transform into the ultimate foodie’s paradise, dishing out great vibes and even better food. With over 30 vendors, four distinct zones to explore, and plenty of entertainment to keep the party alive under the stars, you’ll be spoilt thoroughly!

What’s more, new zones and exclusives are in store for you this year! Imagine dining under a cosy teepee. How lovely is that? And there are so many perks, promotions and prizes to enjoy. Singapore Writers’ Festival 2024 is back and asking you to touch some grass. With this year’s theme being In Our Nature, Singapore Writers’ Festival 2024 invites you to contemplate the nature around us and the role we as a society play in it. Due to climate change becoming an ever-increasing problem, we are forced to re-examine the relationship we have with the world around us. 

With over 200 programmes, find the perfect ones for you! Whether you’re meeting an author or participating in a workshop, there’s bound to be something that pulls you in. One place that can’t be missed is the Festival Bookstore, which is stocked with books featured during the different panels and programmes.

Becoming Lim Tze Peng

Fellow museum lovers, this one’s for you! If there’s one thing the National Gallery Singapore’s new exhibition proves, art doesn’t change; it evolves. Becoming Lim Tze Peng is an experience that’s akin to flipping the pages of a history book – and this one’s written with the brushstrokes of Singapore’s oldest living, active artist. You could call Lim a national treasure!

This solo show is a glimpse of the world from Lim’s eyes, through his works shaped by his travels and pursuit of artistic freedom. And what’s particularly special is that you’ll get to admire Lim’s distinct style of calligraphy – hu tu zi (糊涂字)! So get a taste of Lim’s story; I’m sure it’ll paint your day.
