The UK artists are loving Singapore, and we love them! Because I just discovered Two Door Cinema Club, and wow, where have they been all my life? If you’re new to them like me, they’re a Northern Irish indie band that broke onto the scene in 2010 with their debut album, Tourist History. Some of their feel-good songs include What You Know and Something Good Can Work!

With catchy guitar riffs and an electronic touch, and I see why they’ve made such a splash. It’s clear that these guys have staying power, so stick around for a good time!

DPR – The Dream Reborn World Tour 2024

Ooh… Don’t get me started on DPR! Let me fill you in if you don’t know Dream Perfect Regime. It’s a visionary collective that blends genres and art forms by innovatively pushing boundaries with a combination of rap, R&B, and loads of visuals. The Dream Reborn promises a multi-sensory experience like no other – it’s a must-see. I’m not biased, I swear!

The three artists you’ll get to see on tour are DPR ARTIC, DPR CREAM, and DPR IAN. DPR ARTIC debuted not too long ago in February this year, and has already garnered over 5 million streams for his lead single Do or Die (Ft. DPR IAN). That’s a solid start!

Songs like Sunsetz and Apocalypse have gained traction on TikTok, and I’ve noticed them being used frequently as the background audios of sceneries. Those views look exactly like what Cigarettes After Sex’s songs sound like – heavenly. The Script

Last but definitely not least, Irish pop-rock band The Script is returning to Singapore! With relatable anthems like Hall of Fame and Breakeven, their heartfelt performances hit close to home for many. But what makes this particular tour so special is that it’s a tribute to late member Mark Sheehan, who unfortunately passed away in 2023. 

The Script’s latest album, Satellites, pays homage to Sheehan with a collection of touching songs. It’s a symbol of the band’s strength and determination to continue on their path! So if you didn’t manage to catch The Script on their previous Singapore stop, now’s the chance, and all the more reason to!
