Expect to step into a world of wonder, following Monet’s journey through his entire career and telling the story of his humble beginnings as an impressionist artist in Paris — leading up to his most famous and grandest work, Water Lilies. With 200 different paintings showcased using 5 immersive displays, this exhibition promises a visual spectacle.

Rooftop Garden Oktoberfest 2024

I think it’s time to switch it up – let’s welcome Bavaria’s lively charm with open arms! The Rooftop Garden Oktoberfest is back, bringing all the festive cheer to the heart of Singapore. Just picture this. You’re looking over the edge from the Rooftop Garden at Grand Park City Hall to take in the gorgeous landscape, Erdinger beer in hand, with the DJ’s groovy beats in the back. Feel the music in the air? That’s right, District M is back as part of the Singapore Design Week festivities! For a single weekend, the Marina Bay District will be transformed into a vibrant and diverse festival focusing on music across a multitude of genres, along with engaging performances and activities to do on the side!

From Marina Square to Suntec City, dance the night away at any of the 4 Music Zones to music ranging from elegant classical to body-thumping EDM, take your pick! Once you’re done jamming out, you can grab a bite at any of the nearby malls, some with eateries offering discounts during this event! 

After you’ve fuelled up, you can move on to any of District M’s other activities, such as a stunning light show by Tesla performed using a Tesla Cybertruck, playing life-sized chess at the South Beach Fountain Stage or an interactive digital painting experience by KPMG at Millenia Walk!

Studio Ghibli fans, this one’s for you! The World of Studio Ghibli has finally touched down in Singapore and is located at the ArtScience Museum. Wander into the worlds of the different Ghibli movies and encounter your favourite characters!

Delve into the characters and stories created by one of the leading animation studios in the world through interactive installations and theatrical sets. Not to mention, the exhibition is here until February next year, so return any time you wish to be spirited away into those worlds again!
