The first new ingredient is Crispy Beef Tripe! Beef tripe is a must-have when it comes to hot pot, as it is considered one of the “soul” ingredients of hot pot. Now, Haidilao has its very own, continuing this classic hot pot tradition with its tender, crisp texture that is both refreshing and chewy.
The secret to getting the perfect texture and flavour in your beef tripe? Haidilao says to let the beef tripe cook for about 15 seconds, which is enough time for its unique texture to be retained, but still absorb all the goodness of your soup base’s flavours.
Another new dish you cannot, and I cannot stress enough, cannot miss out on ordering is the Crispy Pork Stripes! Yes, Crispy Pork Stripes have been around in Haidilao for a while now, but this is an upgraded version!
