That’s right, the secret’s finally out, and I’m here to spill on Every. Single. Scare. for Halloween Horror Nights 12! With the theme being dark dreams this year, Halloween Horror Nights 12 will transport you to a realm where dreams and nightmares co-exist, blurring the lines between what’s real and what’s not!
Across 18 nights (12 peak nights and 6 non-peak nights) of terror, more chills, more thrills, and more nightmares await, so follow along as I guide you on everything to expect at this year’s edition of Southeast Asia’s biggest Halloween event!
Haunted Houses
What happens when home sweet home becomes the stuff of nightmares? This Halloween, the safety of the four walls of a home is all but an illusion. As Asian horror gets the spotlight in Halloween Horror Nights 12, in addition to Netflix’s Sweet Home haunted house, three other haunted houses will also leave your heart racing with their own Asian horror stories!
Has anyone had a phase where you’d binged every local horror story you could find? Well, they say that truth is stranger than fiction, so Halloween Horror Nights 12 is here to turn your imagination into reality with Singapore’s Most Haunted: The Killings!
Brought to you by official event partner Sprite, step into a world where the horrors of Singapore’s most haunted houses are recreated! Watch your step as you’ll come face to face with eerie stone lions, the restless spirits of countless victims, and the malicious souls that killed them.
For the next haunted house, you’ll need to brace yourself for, the setting you’ll be trapped in will take you back in time, more accurately, at least a few thousand years ago. Welcome to Cursed Scrolls: Dynasty of Darkness!
An immersive three-dimensional experience, this haunted house is filled with the evil entities of the ancient scrolls that The Scrollmaster, a possessed Qing Dynasty scholar, has conjured! If you haven’t gotten goosebumps from any of these haunted houses that await your presence, then the final haunted house I’m about to introduce to you might give you the biggest fright!
As the saying goes, “Better the devil you know than the devil you don’t”; if you’re dying to know what the fourth haunted house has in store for you, sorry to say but you’ll have to wait as it is still being kept as a surprise by the park — Universal Studios Singapore, you’re such a tease! Not to worry though, as the reveal will be coming soon!
Scare Zones
Thought you could take a breather after entering the haunted houses? The haunted houses aren’t the only areas where you should take extra care to watch over your shoulder as here comes the three scare zones!
As you venture into the night, beware of more terror lurking around every corner! Want to know what terrors to watch out for? In the first zone, if you’re a Twilight fanatic, this might excite you or maybe not should you fear these blood-sucking creatures. You’ve guessed it, it’s Vampire Alley!
As these creatures of the night creep in the shadows, they await their next prey so enter the Vampire Alley if you dare, and you could turn into the next member of their vampire coven!
Every country has their own superstitions and supernatural creatures. Here at Halloween Horror Nights, we’ve got The Lost Kampung, where its vengeful spirits and cursed items could spell a spine-chilling fate for anyone who trespasses into this scare zone!
And finally, for something a little more on the wild side, head over to Nether-Land! This may seem like a regular rave, but it’s unlike any other with the undead who are hypnotised by voodoo vibes and beats that are to die for!

Live Shows
Once you’ve your douse of scares and hard partying, the nightmare continues with these three live shows!
A new live show you can look forward to is Night Terrors, which transforms a fortress into a haunted haven for phantoms belonging to Asian folklore. This projection mapping show debuts at this year’s Halloween Horror Nights as a spectacle of lights, sound effects, and more!
Then, head over to Dark Dreams, where you’ll witness the twisted tale of the Dream Reaper. This terror-inducing creature does exactly what its name suggests, feeding off the nightmares of innocent people to steal their souls! With Dark Dreams, Pantages Theatre brings back its annual Halloween Horror Nights show, so anticipate elaborate sets and nerve-rattling special effects!
Last but certainly not least, don’t miss out on Ocu.lar’s Rave, a dance with the undead featuring hypnotic music and visuals! This live show reaches a fever pitch with giant puppets, ravers, and more.
All-new Immersive Speakeasy
What’s this? Something never before seen at Halloween Horror Nights? For the uninitiated, a speakeasy refers to a retro-style bar replicating aspects of past speakeasies. Halloween Horror Nights’ very own, brand new speakeasy, is aptly named the Viper Lounge, a lavish speakeasy bar owned by the vampire clan, The Elders!
Now, this exclusive bar isn’t found in plain sight, no. You’ve got to work for it as it’s concealed in a hidden location! Should you be lucky enough to find this secret location, savour the fruits of your discovery by indulging in a range of deliciously devilish canapés and drinks.
Do note that this immersive bar experience, which includes an alcoholic or non-alcoholic drink and two canapé items, requires paid admission to Universal Studios Singapore Halloween Horror Nights has and has an add-on price of S$25 for guests on the R.I.P Tour and S$35 for regular guests!
