#RevUpSG Festivities on Full-throttle to Accelerate Anticipation for Formula 1 2024!

Two months. If you Formula 1 (F1) fans have been keeping watch of the clock, that’s how long it’ll be until the Formula 1 Singapore Airlines Singapore Grand Prix 2024 descends upon us! Two months before you can see the engines roar to life seems like a long while, but fret not! As part of race promoter Singapore GP’s #RevUpSG community engagement campaign, F1-themed activities are hitting the track from July to September 2024 and will make the wait feel like a quick pit stop. Before you know it, we’ll already be seated at the grandstands!

So rev your spirits, for Singapore will be buzzing to life with complimentary behind-the-scenes tours, a karting competition, pop-up festivals, and a Pit Lane walk! These #RevUpSG programmes are here to shift the excitement into high gear and prepare you for Formula 1 2024, so here’s all you need to know about them.

Behind-The-Scenes Tour

Ever wanted to know what goes on at the F1 Pit Building? Here’s your chance to explore the behind-the-scenes at the heart of the Marine Bay Street Circuit through exclusive guided tours of the facility!

Owing to the high demand from previous years, you’ll be treated to more tour sessions in 2024! During the tour, you can hear from key personnel to gain insights into the home of Formula 1 night racing, its sustainability practices, and a sneak peek into areas you’d normally not be able to see, like the Race Control room, Media Centre, and podium!

#RevUpSG 2024: Behind-The-Scenes Tour
Get your curiosity about the F1 Pit Building satiated during the behind-the-scenes tours!

Well, with strong demand, that would mean intense competition for a coveted place in the tours! You can try your luck grabbing tickets via ballot from now till 14 July 2024. Do note that tour tickets are only available to local residents via ballot.

#RevUpSG Karting Challenge

Want to put the pedal to the medal? Then try your hand in the #RevUpSG Karting Challenge from 3 to 4 August 2024 at The Palawan @ Sentosa  – HyperDrive, an indoor gamified electric go-kart circuit.

This heart-racing challenge is open to locals aged between 9 to 17 in Category A, and those 18 and up in Category B. Make sure you’re at least 140cm in height, or you won’t qualify for this! Like the real thing, the top 10 racers from the qualifying sessions on 3 August 2024 will battle for their place on the podium the following day!

Can you feel the rush?!

In addition to tasting the glory of winning, the top three racers in each category will win exclusive tickets to the Formula 1 Singapore Airlines Singapore Grand Prix 2024, Red Bull products and merchandise, and The Palawan @ Sentosa vouchers.

Pit Lane Experience

Just when you think that the behind-the-scenes tours are the closest to being part of the teams, the Pit Lane Experience returns on 19 September 2024! Be part of the lucky 4000, where you can experience the F1 Village a day before the gates to the Circuit Park officially open!

Through the Pit Lane Experience, you can get up close to the Formula 1 team garages as you walk down the Singapore pit lane. And if you’re extra lucky, you can earn some bragging rights if the drivers are present!

This experience is not to be missed, so if you are interested, you can ballot for tickets to this experience, which will be open from 1 to 31 August 2024. The Pit Lane Experience is only available to local residents and Singaporeans.

#RevUpSG Festivals

Don’t fret if you can’t get tickets to the programmes above, as the #RevUpSG Festivals are where you can still feel the pre-F1 excitement!

The #RevUpSG Festivals will be held at Suntec City (27 to 28 July 2024), One Punggol (24 to 25 August 2024), and Toa Payoh HDB Hub (31 August to 1 September 2024). Through these festivals, you can engage in a host of F1-themed activities. Some activities that’ll make you feel like a racer yourself include the race simulators and racing in an open-cockpit vehicle!

You can also get a sneak peek of the 2024 official Singapore GP merchandise so you’ll know what to dress up as to prepare for the upcoming race. Then, get your cheer game on as you can watch your favourite drivers in action at the beIN Sports live screenings of the Belgian, Dutch, and Italian Grands Prix.

That’s not all! Visit the One Punggol and Toa Payoh HDB Hub events to obtain promotional codes subject to availability to purchase Friday Zone 4 Walkabout tickets to the Formula 1 Singapore Airlines Singapore Grand Prix 2024 at a special community price.
