For Nintendo loyalists, a trip to Japan’s Nintendo store is like a pilgrimage to get their favourite characters in merch form. But fans can now easily find them here in Singapore too, with the arrival of an upcoming limited-time Nintendo Pop-Up Store!
Landing right at Jewel Changi Airport from 17 November 2023 to 1 January 2024, the pop-up will feature merchandise from games such as Super Mario, Animal Crossing, The Legend of Zelda, Splatoon, and Pikmin — previously only found at Nintendo Tokyo, Nintendo Osaka, and Nintendo Kyoto stores.
That’s right, all the awesome Nintendo items are now available to get for your collection! Grab unique-looking merch from Nintendo’s vault of properties, like clothing themed after the latest The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom game, or perhaps cute Pikman flower holders; there’s so much to pick out!
A special illustration also features iconic Nintendo characters like Mario from the Mario games, Isabelle from Animal Crossing, and Link from The Legend of Zelda. The illustration will be available in several unique original merchandise forms that will be available for purchase.
Exclusively for the Nintendo Pop-Up Store in Singapore, six types of exclusively designed postcards will be available. Customers can receive one whenever they spend S$80 or more in a single transaction at the store, so be sure to collect them all if you can!
And if you’re making your way to the pop-up, you can get special stickers by checking in to your Nintendo Account at the venue, with 18 designs available in total.
Finally, a collaboration campaign, Super Mario “PIPE AROUND THE WORLD”, will also be held at Jewel Changi Airport to coincide with the limited Nintendo Pop-Up Store. More details will be released at a later date, but we predict many shenanigans alongside the Maro cast.
