Calling all green thumbs! Far East Flora unveils Singapore’s first-ever vertical flora centre — Far East Flora Centre, in the heart of Clementi. This centre redefines floriculture retail with a whopping total of 11 storeys, including a basement and a beautiful rooftop garden (practically a shopping mall). It might just be a new haven for plant lovers and gardening enthusiasts alike!
Even if you are not a huge fan of plants, or are horrible at gardening like me, you might change your mind about flora after walking through the centre. I personally ended up adopting a cute little succulent, the perfect choice for someone like me! Safe to say, the succulent is well-loved and taken good care of.
Come rain or shine, shop comfortably at Far East Flora, as 80% of the commercial space is sheltered. Some members of the DANAMIC team headed down to check out the mega garden centre, and here’s what you can expect:
Extensive Offerings
Trust me when I say that the centre has literally every plant-related item you’ll need. Browse through an extensive range of home and lifestyle gardening products, including indoor and outdoor plants, tropical plants, succulents, and more. Customers can find a wide range of plant species and varieties to suit their gardening preferences. I also got lost amongst all the options!
Whether for personal or commercial purposes, Far East Flora Centre has got you covered. With over 1000 varieties of flowers and 500 different types of plants, the extensive range of offerings caters to every want and need in just one place.
Walk-in Cold Room
The centre also features a walk-in cold room selling wholesale fresh flowers such as Roses, Baby Breaths and more. I’m not joking when I say it smelt like heaven upon entering. Upon entering, you’re immediately greeted by the wide range of colourful flowers; you’ll be tempted to buy them all!
Not only are the flowers pleasing to the eye, but they are affordable, too! So, for all the boyfriends or husbands out there in particular, this is the ultimate place to go if you plan to put a smile on your partner’s face for a special occasion.
Wholesale Fresh Market
And just when you think the centre couldn’t be any more impressive, there’s also a Wholesale Fresh Market right next to the walk-in cold room! I was thoroughly impressed by the range of quality fruits, from durians to muscat grapes; the choices are endless!
Aside from fruits and vegetables, ready-made floral bouquets are also sold within the market. But that’s not all! These are flower bouquets with a twist, featuring chocolate bouquets, stuffed toy bouquets, and more, all found in the market! So, if you ever feel like the usual flower bouquets are too simple, more creative options can be found in the market!
Premiere Garden Cafe
Don’t worry about getting hungry after exploring the centre, as you can grab a bite at the cute little garden cafe, F’east. Adorned with beautiful fresh plants and flowers, this aesthetic cafe passes the insta-worthy cafe vibes.
But the cafe is so much more than simply aesthetically pleasing; the cafe also offers a wide array of mouthwatering and equally aesthetically pleasing dishes, such as Beef Sirloin Steak, Ricotta Hotcakes and more.
If you wish to purchase some items at Far East Flora but are unable to head down to the centre, don’t fret, as you can still make a purchase or simply browse through their products via Far East Flora’s online store.
