The Singapore Night Festival is back this year to illuminate the Bras Basah-Bugis (BBB) district. Explore its magical streets like never before through street performances, cultural showcases and luminous installations in conjunction with this year’s theme; โ€œSingapore, the Great Port Cityโ€.

Discover over 50 exciting experiences at Singapore Night Festival 2023! Visitors stand a chance to win exciting prizes through the NightWalk web app as they experience all that the festival has to offer, such as Time is a Black Circle by local artist Dawn Ng, the festivalโ€™s highlight act which features a roller skating rink in the National Museum of Singapore!

The Sundown Festival, Asiaโ€™s music wonderland, is back with a bang and all set to shake things up. My Community Festival 2023

Do you say hello to your neighbours? Do you know about their culture and religion? My Community Festival 2023, organised by the non-profit organisation My Community โ€“ with support from the Singapore Tourism Board and Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth โ€“ returns for a fourth edition, celebrating the true essence of our neighbourhoods.

This event is about rejoicing in the ordinary yet extraordinary people and places that make our neighbourhoods so unique. The festival features an exciting line-up of co-curated tours, experiences and a festival village at Chinatown thoughtfully curated around the theme โ€˜Love My Neighbourโ€™.

The programme series include โ€˜My Lepak Cornerโ€™, โ€˜Whatโ€™s for My Dinnerโ€™, and โ€˜MY โ€“ SGโ€™, which takes you on a trip to Malaysia to uncover the heartfelt stories behind the farmers, fishermen, drivers and distributors who work to ensure every Singaporean is well-fed and more! National Day Parade 2023

The 5 jets symbolising the 5 stars on the Singapore Flag – ah, the sights at the National Day Parade!

We simply canโ€™t talk about things to do in August without mentioning the most important, most exciting of them all – Singapore turns 58 this month! Happy National Day, everyone!

This yearโ€™s theme is โ€˜Onward As Oneโ€™, honouring our great promise to build a beautiful shared future for all of us in Singapore, together as one. Held at the Padang this year, the parade, ceremony, and the total defence display segment have been combined. Catch goosebump-raising favourites like the state flag flypast, the ‘Salute-to-the-Nation’ bomb burst flown by fighter aircraft, and an enhanced RSAF55 aerial display. 

Along with the display at the main parade at Marina Bay, you can catch them at any of these five heartland locations: Jurong West Stadium, Woodlands Stadium, Bedok Stadium, Our Tampines Hub and Toa Payoh Stadium.

Jazz For Dogs 2023

Spend a beautiful evening out with your pets and make a difference at this fundraising event spreading awareness about stray dogs!

Jazz for Dogs 2023 is a fundraising evening hosted by one of the most established dog welfare groups in Action for Singapore Dogs (ASD). Enjoy the marvellous melodies of jazz with your furry best friend under the open sky, surrounded by beautiful lush greenery at Singapore Botanic Gardens.
