The Ultimate Soundtrack: F1 Singapore Grand Prix 2023’s Entertainment Line-Up Revealed!

Ladies and gentlemen, start your engines and buckle up for the return of the biggest racing event of the year – Formula 1 Singapore Airlines Singapore Grand Prix 2023! As the sun sets in its glory over the beautiful island we call home, the city is revving up for a night filled with speed, adrenaline and music that will keep you dancing all night. From 15 to 17 September 2023, Singapore Grand Prix 2023 is set to shock the circuits with a line-up that will ignite the tarmac and set hearts racing at breakneck speeds! 

Gear up for an adrenaline-pumping extravaganza with a staggering 80+ hours of non-stop entertainment throughout the electrifying Circuit Park! Brace yourself for mind-blowing performances from a whopping 139 artists across 13 performance and DJ stages that will keep you on your feet all weekend long. This year, the Zone 4 Padang Stage features the most acts ever. So if you’re wondering where the best seats are for the hottest beats, you have your answer.

Jaws were first dropped when it was announced some time ago that five-time diamond-certified GRAMMY Award-nominated phenomenon Post Malone and the music icon with six of the Top 100 bestselling albums in British history, Robbie Williams, are performing at this year’s Grand Prix in Singapore.

This line-up was joined by 88rising’s Jackson Wang, the only Chinese solo artist to perform at Coachella for the second time, NIKI, Indie-folk and pop singer-songwriter with over 1.8 billion

streams to date who sold out her first-ever headline tour in 2022, Rich Brian, the first Asian artist to top the iTunes Hip-Hop charts with his debut album, and Warren Hue, rapper-singer who was listed in Forbes Asia Under 30 list and added to NME’s list of 100 essential new artists and 25 artists to watch for in 2022. 

But there’s more. More artists have now been added to the programme this year, like one of the most influential bands of the ‘80s, Culture Club, three-time GRAMMY-nominated DJs, Groove Armada, one of the biggest and most loved British bands, Madness, and multi-platinum selling and three times GRAMMY award and BRIT award-winning band Kings of Leon!

Hold on. Kings of Leon are coming to Singapore? They will be performing their first-ever Asian shows outside of Japan as one of the headliners at Zone 4 Padang Stage on Saturday, 16 September and the Zone 1 Wharf Stage on Sunday, 17 September. Recognised as one of the world’s biggest alternative rock bands over the last 20 years, they have headlined the world’s biggest and most prestigious festivals and venues, including Coachella, Glastonbury and numerous Lollapalooza’s!

While we don’t know what songs they will perform, the band will certainly delight their audience with their iconic hits that have stood the test of time. Some of their biggest hits include Sex on Fire, Use Somebody, Closer, Pyro and more! Anyone part of this crowd is definitely in for a historic show in the history of Kings of Leon as they perform in Singapore for the first time!

88rising’s line-up also sees an expansion with XG, the Japanese multilingual girl group that took TikTok by storm with their Galz Xypher video, Korean rapper-singer BIBI, whose collaboration with 88rising has propelled her to international recognition, MILLI, the Thai hip-hop sensation, and the eccentric Japanese girl group Atarashii Gakko!, so keep your dancing shoes on and be ready to groove all night!

But the entertainment extravaganza definitely doesn’t stop there, as a wide array of international and local artists will be performing across various stages, ensuring that there’s something for everyone. From indie bands like The Kooks and San Cisco to the soulful melodies of Meg Mac and the electronic pop vibes of Safia, this magnificent racing event will be no less than a music festival with the likes of Coachella!

Adding to the excitement, there will be F1 Drivers’ Meet & Greet Sessions held on 15 and 16 September at the Zone 1 Wharf Stage and two support races returning to the Marina Bay Street Circuit, the Porsche Carrera Cup Asia and TSS The Super Series, will further add fuel to your night, bringing you closer to the world of motorsports. For a better view of the Marina Bay Street Circuit, Zones 1 and 2 ticketholders can look forward to complimentary rides on the Singapore Flyer over the race weekend this year!

The event organisers have also taken into consideration the challenges posed by the closure of the Bay Grandstand as part of the redevelopment of The Float at Marina Bay. Despite the reduced capacity, Singapore Grand Prix will work to identify new viewing sites to ensure that more fans can enjoy the thrilling race action.

But tickets for the night race continue to be in demand, with only limited tickets remaining in selected categories. Limited tickets priced from S$888 are now available for two new grandstands – Bayfront (Turn 17) and Raffles (Turn 5). As of the time of writing, tickets start at S$128 per person for the Walkabout categories.

All tickets to the Singapore Grand Prix 2023 will provide you access to the concerts at the Padang Stage in Zone 4 (where you can watch most of the big acts). Ensure that you have a valid ticket on the relevant day of an act’s performance for entry. 

As the checkered flag looms ever closer, we can almost taste the exhilaration and anticipation in the air. From the screeching tires on the tracks to the dance-invoking beats on stage, the countdown to the epic Formula 1 Singapore Airlines Singapore Grand Prix 2023 begins.
