Perhaps you may have missed last yearโ€™s iteration of Anime Festival Asia. Fret not, because the next best thing is coming in July! AFA Creators Super Fest is another big festival for fans of anime and Japanese culture, with many creators from the Anime, Comics and Games (ACG) community coming together to celebrate cosplay, games, music and art!

Meet notable cosplayers such as Xiaoyukiko, Yingtze and Prestonles, alongside big-name special guests such as Kureji Ollie of Hololive Indonesia, Lucius Merryweather and Masaharu Yamanouchi, most famous for producing popular animes such as 86, Engage Kiss and Vivy: Flourite Eyeโ€™s Song.

Expect to have a ton of fun weebing out with your friends over at AFA Creators Super Fest, set to be held this July, so get your tickets early to avoid disappointment!

Singapore Festival of Football

Things to Do July 2023: Singapore Festival of Football

Big fan of football? Time to satisfy your cravings for action-packed matches this July with the Singapore Festival of Football, bringing some of the worldโ€™s biggest teams to Singapore to play!

Catch Bayern Munich, Liverpool, Tottenham Hotspur, AS Roma, and Leicester City as they face off in the Tiger Cup, Standard Chartered Singapore Trophy and the Singapore Trophy from the 26th of July until the 2nd of August. Do grab tickets early before theyโ€™re all sold out! Fans can also get tickets for the Liverpool and Tottenham training sessions as well, so be sure to snap those up too!

Besides the matches, visitors can also experience the Football Interactive Fanzone, where photo booths, giveaways, performances, and Q&A sessions with club legends will be available for fans to check out.

Who hasnโ€™t heard of Stranger Things? Ever since its first run on Netflix in 2016, it has taken over the world by storm, garnering a huge following ever since. But, unfortunately, season 5 will have to wait. For now, youโ€™d be delighted to know that Stranger Things – The Encounter is coming to Singapore to pacify the wait! 

In an immersive experience, youโ€™ll get to experience seven differently-themed rooms, such as Starcourt Mall, Palace Arcade, Joyceโ€™s House, and of course, the infamous Creel House, where youโ€™d end off your experience.

Of course, when youโ€™re there, youโ€™d definitely want to be taking pictures. Still, there are also digital collectables that you can obtain to customise your avatar, and even get them printed out on a T-shirt and tote bag that you can buy, so do keep a lookout for them too!

Oh ARMYs, your time has come! From 7 to 16 July 2023, LEGO will have a BTS Dynamite experience pop-up, giving you a Dynamite Experience with interactive experiences and photo spots that will look perfect on the โ€˜gram.

Catch them all in a life-sized LEGO form, made out of 161,000 LEGO bricks and standing at 1.2m high. From the Big Builds Stage, Record Discovery Zone, and the Disco Retail Zone inspired by their Dynamite music video to interactive activities like a game to dance along to your favourite songs and a claw machine, the LEGO BTS Dynamite Experience is on fire! The best part? Entry is free!

This year, Cosfest Classic pays homage to all things nostalgic of anime, cosplay, comics, games, and music genres. So come cosplaying as characters from older or retro animation, comics, movies or game series.
