AFA Creators Super Fest (AFA CSF)

Perhaps you may have missed last year’s iteration of Anime Festival Asia. Fret not, because the next best thing is coming in July! AFA Creators Super Fest is another big festival for fans of anime and Japanese culture, with many creators from the Anime, Comics and Games (ACG) community coming together to celebrate cosplay, games, music and art!

Meet notable cosplayers such as Xiaoyukiko, Yingtze and Prestonles, alongside big-name special guests such as Kureji Ollie of Hololive Indonesia, Lucius Merryweather and Masaharu Yamanouchi, most famous for producing popular animes such as 86, Engage Kiss and Vivy: Flourite Eye’s Song.

Expect to have a ton of fun weebing out with your friends over at AFA Creators Super Fest, set to be held this July, so get your tickets early to avoid disappointment!

Singapore Festival of Football

Big fan of football? Time to satisfy your cravings for action-packed matches this July with the Singapore Festival of Football, bringing some of the world’s biggest teams to Singapore to play!

Catch Bayern Munich, Liverpool, Tottenham Hotspur, AS Roma, and Leicester City as they face off in the Tiger Cup, Standard Chartered Singapore Trophy and the Singapore Trophy from the 26th of July until the 2nd of August. Do grab tickets early before they’re all sold out! Fans can also get tickets for the Liverpool and Tottenham training sessions as well, so be sure to snap those up too!

Besides the matches, visitors can also experience the Football Interactive Fanzone, where photo booths, giveaways, performances, and Q&A sessions with club legends will be available for fans to check out.

Amazon Prime Day Carnival 

Prime Day is set to begin on 11 July and end on 12 July, but why not head down to their Prime Day Carnival, held before Prime Day, to have a blast of a time? Expect to have a first look at the latest offerings from Hasbro, with toys such as Twister Air and Monopoly Chance. At the same time, you can also have a first look at all the exclusive deals that you can get on Prime Day itself!

Alongside that, a games booth area will test your skills, and participants can stand a chance to walk away with Amazon vouchers and prizes! Furthermore, if you can complete all game stations, you can redeem a free carousel ride and a tray of snacks for you to take home.

Stranger Things – The Encounter: Singapore

Who hasn’t heard of Stranger Things? Ever since its first run on Netflix in 2016, it has taken over the world by storm, garnering a huge following ever since. But, unfortunately, season 5 will have to wait. For now, you’d be delighted to know that Stranger Things – The Encounter is coming to Singapore to pacify the wait! 

In an immersive experience, you’ll get to experience seven differently-themed rooms, such as Starcourt Mall, Palace Arcade, Joyce’s House, and of course, the infamous Creel House, where you’d end off your experience.

Of course, when you’re there, you’d definitely want to be taking pictures. Still, there are also digital collectables that you can obtain to customise your avatar, and even get them printed out on a T-shirt and tote bag that you can buy, so do keep a lookout for them too!

The Sentosa Food Festival is back this year with exciting selections such as the Grill Fest, Restaurant Trail and Food Truck Fiesta from 7 July to 17 September!

It’s orchid galore at Gardens by the Bay’s Flower Dome this July. Get your phones ready to snap away for your next Instagram post because it’s an Orchid Extravaganza!

This year’s Orchid Extravaganza is presented in partnership with the embassies of Brunei, Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailand. Each country is represented by orchids cultivated from species native to their land, as well as a recreation of their traditional house, cultural handicrafts and artefacts. These orchids will take you on a trip around the East Tropics in the comfort of the Flower Dome!

LEGO BTS Dynamite Experience

Oh ARMYs, your time has come! From 7 to 16 July 2023, LEGO will have a BTS Dynamite experience pop-up, giving you a Dynamite Experience with interactive experiences and photo spots that will look perfect on the ‘gram.

Catch them all in a life-sized LEGO form, made out of 161,000 LEGO bricks and standing at 1.2m high. From the Big Builds Stage, Record Discovery Zone, and the Disco Retail Zone inspired by their Dynamite music video to interactive activities like a game to dance along to your favourite songs and a claw machine, the LEGO BTS Dynamite Experience is on fire! The best part? Entry is free!

The ultimate celebration of classic anime and manga, featuring cosplay and performances, is happening – Cosfest Classic is here! And better yet, it’s Cosfest’s 20th anniversary, so it’s going to be crazy!

This year, Cosfest Classic pays homage to all things nostalgic of anime, cosplay, comics, games, and music genres. So come cosplaying as characters from older or retro animation, comics, movies or game series. Cosfest has already announced its first featured celebrity, Yui Ninomiya, a rising star Japanese voice actress and singer. But stay tuned for more!
