Things to do in Singapore June 2023: i Light Singapore 2023

Back for its ninth edition in 2023, i Light Singapore continues their Visible Light Narrative, exploring the colour of Blue across multiple different light art installations. Be sure to look out for the curatorial theme of this year’s festival, “A New Wave”, presented by DBS, alongside other must-see artworks!

There are 14 different types of installations all around the Marina Bay area — done by artists from all over the world while also exploring the colour blue in their themes. These include, but are not limited to: “the things left unsaid”, “Tree Man”, “Prism”, and much more!

There are also programmes that the whole family can partake in! Gastrobeats – the ever-popular celebration of local food and music is also back alongside Lightwave: Turning the Tide presented by Alibaba Cloud, Light Forum, Light Wash, and two walking tours around the festival grounds and Marina Bay itself.

Beerfest Asia 2023

If the kids are out with their friends, why not take this opportunity to head on over to Beerfest Asia to kick back and have a cold beer at the same time?

With over 30+ music acts, including DJs, EDM and Bands, expect the atmosphere to be similar to a party on a grander scale. Moreover, there are over 600 (yes, 600) types of beer for you to choose from, ranging from local to renowned overseas brands — there is sure to be one to your taste!

Wellness Festival Singapore

Organised by the Singapore Tourism Board, Wellness Festival Singapore is here to help you get a well-deserved break from the hustle and bustle of life.

The festival features over 180 wellness experiences held across the city. The many activities include sessions such as the Beats Therapy Performance with Therapy Room and Sphere, Private Farm Tours at Hay Dairies Goat Farm, and learning the art of tisane blending at Esplanade.

Things to do in Singapore June 2023: Where Your Mind and Body Connect

In conjunction with Wellness Festival Singapore 2023, Marina Bay Sands will be holding activities ranging from lung-bursting workouts to workshops that aid you in being more at peace, meaning that there is most definitely something for you to consider.

Expect physical activities such as Muay Thai classes, Tai Chi, Qigong, Yoga and Pilates, while others like Sound Bath Meditation provide a relaxing alternative. Inner peace might not be all that far away after all.

Olympic Esports Week 2023

Get a taste of the competitive Olympic spirit as the Olympic Esports Week makes its way to Singapore, giving people a chance to experience the thrilling action of the Olympic Esports Series 2023.

The event is a four-day virtual sports and gaming festival where the public gets to witness some of the world’s best players battle it out in their respective sports. Besides watching the games being played, there is a free-to-play zone where you can experience games like JustDance and Street Fighter.

Rose Romance at Gardens by the Bay

The iconic Rose flower gets the focus at Gardens by the Bay this June, promising a picturesque and romantic view for visitors to the Flower Dome.

Collaborating with the Embassy of Italy in Singapore, Rose Romance brings a floral display reminiscent of the region of Puglia in idyllic southern Italy, where its charm has lured many people into making it their favoured wedding destination.

Yummy Food Expo 2023

Delicious food, all in one place. A multitude of food and drink offerings are available for visitors to try out, with unique eats like mochi donuts, dragon’s breath snacks, and plant-based wagyu meats being exhibited at the Expo space.

Other than savouring good food, you’ll also be able to enjoy exclusive promotions and deals from the various exhibitors, making it one more reason to shop what you’ve just eaten!
