For the sixth year running, IT’S THE SHIP takes the open waters by storm once again! Held from 13 November to 15 November 2019, IT’S THE SHIP 2019 boasts a high-octane, uninterrupted 3D2N experience onboard the award-winning Genting Dream, along with an electrifying roster of widely-acclaimed headliners and talented music artistes.
IT’S THE SHIP’s larger-than-life headlining acts will see electronic dance music duo Nervo return to rule the dance decks, alongside modern UK dance music legend Darren Styles – best-known for blazing the path for hardstyle crossover to the mainstream. Joining the star-studded lineup are EDM artistes Brooklyn, Indigo Starlight, Kate Fox, Tenzin, The Him, and Zonderling.
This year, shipmates can expect some Asian hardstyle and hip hop music, such as the likes of viral rap sensations Yung Raja and Fariz Jabba from Singapore, blazing Malaysian duo Bass Agents, and Australian breakout hard dance star DNA.
Shipmates can also look forward to an experience like never before as tropical house hitmaker Sam Feldt brings his world-renowned, signature Heartfeldt Pool Party onboard to pump the crowd with his unique summer sounds.
Another addition to one of many IT’S THE SHIP’s legendary parties is the FYRE FAN CLUB theme party, which aims to entice urban fanatics on trap, hip hop, and bass genres with Malaysian DJs Jhin and NAHSYK along with a soon to be announced “Special Guest”.
Other novel, themed pop-up parties slated to take place at IT’S THE SHIP 2019 include the Communion Sunrise, Sleepless Society: One Hell of A Party and ONESIE and LET’S KARNAVAL: FOAMO – shipmates will have plenty of opportunities to rub shoulders with their favourite artistes at the parties too!
Unlike last year, where IT’S THE SHIP 2018’s itinerary had a stopover at Phuket, this year’s edition will be entirely on sea. However, the event will play host to an array of secret and closed-door events and interactive performances to make up for it, though the details have yet to be announced.
