For the first time in Asia, fans will get to witness all 403 Pokémon from the Pokémon region of Alola, in a single venue at Sentosa’s Pokémon Carnival! Hosted by Sentosa, the Pokémon Carnival will be held at Sentosa Cove Village from Saturday, 15 June to Sunday, 30 June 2019.
Pokémon fanatics can look forward to free activities happening at the Carnival from 5pm to 9pm daily. Complete the Pokémon Adventure for a free plushie, have a go at the game booths and Pokémon-themed slides and ball pits, meet the much-adored Pikachu, and end off your day with a movie screening with friends and family!
Pokémon Adventure
Take part in the Pokémon Adventure to learn more about the Alolan Pokémon and stand a chance to redeem a free Pokémon plushie when you complete the adventure!
To start the Adventure, visitors are required to submit a receipt – showing any spending in Sentosa in the month of June 2019 – to the redemption booth located at Sentosa Cove Village. Guests will then receive a Pokémon Adventure activity booklet and carnival game vouchers.
Complete the Adventure by correctly answering all 18 questions in the booklet about the various Alola form Pokémon. Questions vary from general trivia, to field-based questions such as “How many Pokémon are together with Lapras (on the pop-up)?” Look out for the Pokémon that are scattered along the marina at Sentosa Cove Village and scan the QR codes to get the information you need.
Answer all the questions correctly, and you can exchange your booklet for a Pokémon plushie at the redemption booth. There are four different booklets available, so you can always have another go if you want more Pokémon plushies!
Fun and play
With the Carnival game vouchers, guests will also be able to enjoy other fun Pokémon-themed activities – from catching Pokémon to identifying the different Pokémon elements. Players who complete all four Carnival games will win a set of Pokémon stickers!
Pokémon Carnival has certainly not forgotten about the young at heart. Marvel at the Pikachu and Lapras inflatables, standing at a height of five metres and six metres respectively.
There are also many opportunities for avid fans to snap pictures with their favourite Pokémon!
Lastly, visitors may catch Pokémon screenings under the stars at Sentosa Cove Village, happening every weekend except on Saturday, 29 June 2019.
Pikachu Meet and Greet and Pikachu Parade
Everyone’s favourite Pikachu will be visiting the carnival grounds every day! Snap some shots together with two Pikachus during the Meet and Greet sessions at 7pm and 8.15pm, or check out a group of Pikachus dancing to the beat at the Pikachu Parade, held at Quayside Isle Fountain Plaza at 8.15pm.
However, the Meet and Greet sessions are held on odd-numbered dates while the Pikachu Parade is held on even-numbered dates, so you’ll have to visit the carnival twice if you’d like to attend both.
