It’s Gizmos Galore at Singapore’s PC Show

Singapore’s longest running IT and consumer electronics exhibition is back for another year – this time, at the Marina Bay Sands Expo & Convention Centre. Held from Thursday, 30 May to Sunday, 2 June 2019, this year’s PC Show features the latest in technology from leading brand names, including ASUS, Canon, Google, Samsung and Secretlab, among others. Visitors can expect to see a wide range of new gadgets and offerings at irresistible bargains exclusive to The PC Show.

Sony

Sony’s main feature at this year’s PC Show is undeniably its “Sound-from-Picture Reality” feature in its new line-up of TVs. The Sound-from-Picture Reality comes in two types – Acoustic Surface Audio and Acoustic Multi-Audio.

With Acoustic Surface Audio, sound comes directly from the screen with two actuators behind the TV vibrating to create acoustics that move with the picture. Meanwhile, the Acoustic Multi-Audio adds two sound positioning tweeters in the rear of the TV to the bass reflex speakers.

Samsung

Samsung has implemented its new Samsung Smart TV Trade-In initiative, which allows consumers to upgrade their old eligible TVs to the latest Samsung Smart TVs with ease while enjoying some cashback through the trade-in. Samsung’s new initiative also eradicates the hassle of disposing of old TVs, and consumers can instead focus on enjoying their new Samsung Smart TVs.

MI ROBOTIC

MI ROBOTIC – a Singapore-headquartered developer of applied robotics technology for home, school, retail, and workplace environments – will showcase three of their robot models at the PC Show: “Beauty Waitress”, “Snow”, and “Amy”.

Standing at 150 cm, Beauty Waitress has a maximum tray load of 5kg and has many potential functions as a servile robot working in retail or food & beverage.

While Snow resembles a fun cartoon character, it comes equipped with serious hardware as standard. Just over one meter in height, Snow is suitable for retail, school and pre-school, reception desk, hotel, and nursing home applications.

Amy serves as an information hub of concierge and is suitable for use in retail, reception, hotel, nursing homes, restaurants, shopping malls, and security.

Secretlab

Secretlab showcases its new 2020 series at the PC Show, which come with various improvements that will exceed the expectations of even the most discerning. In addition to an all-new Extended 5-year Warranty Program, the 2020 Series also sees greater durability with the new-and-improved Secretlab PRIME 2.0 PU Leather, which significantly exceeds industry standards for both abrasion and flexing resistance.

The 2020 Series also features Full-Metal 4D Armrests and Secretlab Signature Memory Foam Head Pillows, made from a layer of cooling gel atop dense, premium memory foam for lasting cool comfort and support.

Fans of Batman and Game of Thrones are in for a treat as the 2020 Series has also launched special edition models, which include a Dark Knight Edition and a Game of Thrones Collection – featuring three unique designs.
