3 to 20 Apr – The Truth

No one can resist a good story, and Singapore Repertory Theatre (SRT) is bringing the West End play, The Truth, to KC Arts Centre – Home of SRT from April 3. Written by French playwright Florian Zeller, this highly reviewed stage production tells a tale of wedded infidelity experienced by two middle-aged couples. With elements of sex, deceit, and humour, this witty comedy gives you a show like no other.

9 Apr – Anne-Marie: The ‘Speak Your Mind’ Tour

The UK pop star returns for another vibrant show in Singapore! With hits like Alarm, Ciao Adios and 2002, as well as notable collaborations like Friends with Marshmello, and Rockabye with Clean Bandit and Sean Paul, her solo releases and collaborations have achieved great success in the past few years. Fans can expect nothing less than an electrifying performance from Anne-Marie.

11 Apr – Sabrina Carpenter: The Singular Tour  

At the tender age of nineteen, Sabrina Carpenter released her debut album, Eyes Wide Open when she was only fifteen. 12 Apr – Dru Chen’s SPACES BETWEEN US show

Having recently dropped his much-anticipated new album, MIRROR WORK, this year, Singapore based soul singer/songwriter Dru Chen will be staging an intimate show backed by his 5-piece band at the Aliwal Arts Centre. In the first week alone, MIRROR WORK was featured on over 500 playlists; amassing 15,000 streams in the process.

13 Apr to 22 Sep – Wonderland Exhibition at ArtScience Museum

Wonderland is a playful and interactive exhibition for all ages based on Lewis Carroll’s timeless stories of Alice and her adventures through Wonderland. Developed by the Australian Centre for the Moving Image (ACMI), this groundbreaking exhibition invites visitors to take a trip through the looking glass into an immersive, enchanted world. Wonderland makes the first stop of its global tour at Singapore’s ArtScience Museum.

17 to 28 Apr – Elegance of Absence Exhibition

Elegance of Absence allows visitors to approach negative spaces in art as a blank canvas to project their preconceived notions and bring their subjectivity to the artwork, sparking a conversation between artist and audience. The exhibition sees six artists – Zhao Xiao Hai, Zhang Wen, Zheng Yuan Wu, Du Xue, Xu Jing Wen and Lynn Lim – explore the concept of absence, and the artistic philosophy of negative spaces; an often overlooked characteristic of Chinese paintings.

20 Apr – Ibeyi’s Debut Performance in Singapore

French musical duo Ibeyi – twin sisters Lisa-Kaindé and Naomi Diaz – are gracing the stage with their soulful hybrid of Afro-Cuban, R&B and jazz. Since releasing their debut EP in 2015, the duo has opened a Chanel Cruise Fashion Show in Cuba with their signature Yoruba chant – in homage to their Cuban heritage – as well as collaborations with some of the biggest names in music including Beyoncé and Alvin Ailey; which ultimately led to their prominent performances on Beyoncé’s short film, Lemonade. Fans can expect an enthralling night complete with tracks off their second album, Ash on their first performance in Singapore.

With over 70 prestigious theatre awards, The Phantom of the Opera returns to Singapore for the second time! 26 Apr – Ed Sheeran: Divide World Tour 2019

The global megastar is set to dazzle the stage at the National Stadium for one night only. 29 Apr – The Proclaimers

The Scottish music duo returns to Singapore for the first time since the 2012 Singapore Grand Prix. Formed in 1982, brothers Craig and Charles Reid started The Proclaimers and have since released 11 studio albums; with their latest album Angry Cyclist being released in August 2018. Famous for hits like I’m Gonna Be (500 Miles), as well as I’m On My Way and Let’s Get Married, this iconic duo has seamlessly infused the sounds of pop, folk, new wave, and punk. Fans of them should not miss this!
