Organised by Red Bull Product of Europe, the global event organiser is looking for the best football team to be sent on an all-expense paid trip to the Neymar Jr’s Five World Final in Sao Paulo, Brazil, at the Instituto Projeto Neymar Jr from 18 to 21 July 2018.

To compete before Neymar Jr’s very eyes and meet him in person, amateur teams must first win the Neymar Jr’s Five Singapore Qualifiers 2018 held on 10 June 2018 at The Cage @ Bukit Timah.

The rules are simple: There is no goalkeeper. When you score a goal, the other team loses a player. A game will last for 10 intense minutes or until one team has no players left. Each team of 5 to 7 players must be aged 16 to 25, with a minimum of three Singaporean citizens and PR. On top of that, each team is also allowed to have two players over 25 years of age, and team members can be made up of both men and women.

The Brazilian professional footballer’s signature five-a-side football tournament has gained global traction ever since it launched in 2016. The event has grown from 65,000 players in 47 countries to 110,000 players in 62 countries.

Last year, Romania came out victorious from over 100,000 players from 53 countries. The third edition of the Neymar Jr’s Five this year is set to be even bigger, and more players than ever will get the chance to experience this beautiful game, as there will also be women’s competitions in addition to the mixed competition in some countries.
