Work & Play With The Surface Book 2 Coming To Singapore On 15 March

Pre-orders have already started for the Microsoft Surface Book 2 in Singapore, which will arrive in stores from 15 March onwards! Starting from S$2,188, the Surface Book 2 is Microsoft’s most powerful laptop yet. With the latest 8th Generation Intel processors, and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 (or 1060 for you power users) discrete graphics options, the Surface Book 2 provides all-day battery life, supporting up to 17 hours of video playback – think about all those shows you’ve been needing to catch-up on!

If you’re seeking a powerful yet portable device, the Surface Book 2 (13.5″) weighs just slightly over 1.5kg, and you can tell from the premium craftsmanship, that the lightweight materials perfectly balance performance with size!

Available in 13.5″ or 15″ versions, the stunningly vibrant and crisp PixelSense Display supports multi-touch. If that’s not enough for you, there’s inking, touch, and of course, your typical keyboard and mouse. For all you visual artists and creatives, the Surface Book 2 is able to drive 7-million pixels onscreen, which would appease you pixel-obsessed folk (as we understand the pain of figuring out if you should shift anything by 1px).

The Surface Book 2 is pretty much a transformer too; going from your conventional laptop into a lightweight tablet, or even as a powerful studio, for those who want a single device that can go the full workflow of concept to sketch and finally, creation. It’s been redesigned so that detaching the screen is now just a push of a button away.

You’ll be glad to know that the Surface Book 2 ships with Windows 10 Pro and so you know you’ve got the full Windows experience with you. The device also brings a full array of ports, including USB-A, USB-C, and full-size SD reader (a win for all you photographers and videographers)!

As of the latest Windows 10 Fall Creators Update, the Surface Book 2 is capable of as well as a new range of experiences that allow for creating and interacting with 3D objects and vectors. If you’re a gamer-on-go, the Surface Book 2 can pretty much handle most popular PC games at 1080p and 60 FPS – in some cases matching the graphics performance of game consoles like the Xbox One!

If you’re thinking of getting one, preorder the Surface Book 2 now from the Microsoft Store, as well as from local retailers including Best Denki, Challenger, Courts, LOL by Epicentre, Harvey Norman, and Newstead, both online and in-store – or you can wait for its availability this 15 March!
