Today is a special day for all Xbox fans – that’s because Xbox Game Pass has expanded to 40 countries, including our sunny Singapore! If you’re clueless about the latest craze in the Xbox gaming world, the Xbox Game Pass is basically an online collection of virtually every Xbox One-generation game that has been released, for play on any Xbox One and later!
Basically, it’s like getting a monthly pass to all the existing mind-blowing rides in your local Universal Studios or Disneyland, as well as any exciting future additions.
For starters, the Xbox Game Pass has over 100 great games in its cabinet including house names like Bioshock, Grand Theft Auto V, as well as new iterations of the biggest Xbox One exclusive franchises such as Halo, Forza, and Gears of War. As of today, Sea of Thieves, State of Decay 2, and Crackdown 3 are the new titles announced at launch.
Perhaps the biggest deal-sealer about Xbox Game Pass is that all new games published by Microsoft Studios will be released into Xbox Game Pass on the same date as their global release. This means that when Sea of Thieves launches on 20th March, it will be included in Xbox Game Pass to all members. No one will be left out of the bandwagon on new, blockbuster games. And plus, all games will be downloadable and playable in full high-fidelity!
Xbox Game Pass is a great subscription service for those of you who want access to not only Xbox One games, but also a growing collection of backward-compatible Xbox 360 games, which have won the hearts of many gamers in past years.
If you ask me, getting Xbox Game Pass is a complete no-brainer. $14.90/month for over 100 premium game titles? That’s a mere fraction of a single game. Take my money. Now!
