Voilah! French Festival Singapore 2016: Discovering Cultural Fraternité

This is the first of three listings on “Voilah! 2016”. This piece features the Arts and Film highlights of the seven-week festival, which will see events exploring French Visual and Performing Arts, Food, Film, Science, and Culture

If you’re concerned about the dearth of exciting cultural events after last year’s SG50 bonanza, fear not, for the Institut Français Singapour, together with the French Embassy in Singapore, French Chamber of Commerce, and Alliance Française are kicking things up a notch to celebrate 51 years of friendly diplomatic and cultural relationships between France and Singapore.

Untitled“Voilah! 2016” has just about something for everyone, offering inimitable French creativity and innovation in visual and performing arts, gastronomy experiences, retrospective cinematography, science, and cultural symposiums in a peerless French festival in the region, sans pareil. Never complain again of having nothing to do on a lazy Sunday afternoon from the 15th of April to the 31st of May as a festival for the masses arrives right at your doorstep.

Immerse yourself in the arts. Take advantage of the great deals on French food and wine. Be a part of the leading edge of French engagement with the region and the co-creation of a nouveau flavour for a truly transboundary cultural phenomenon.
